Its description is pretty intriguing.. Temple from Egypt!! Not so impressive when you see it. Of course you'll get your photographic moments

The temple itselfis an interesting monument. It is located in a great park for jogging and has a great view over the city and specially over the royal palace and the Almudena cathedral.

It was temporarily closed as of winter 2018 but the outside area was beautiful. There is stunning view to the city and a nice garden to walk through.

Come for an amazing sunset and reflective moment. Great view of the Palacio Real as well as other points in the city.

Great for photos during sunset. The rear of the temple offers views of the outer neighbourhoods of Madrid, the palace and the cathedral. It was also a great place to sit and relax.

Nice and Beautiful place and surroundings, amazing place. Full of history and culture, amazing food near that place. Very easily accessible by metro. Highly recommend if u like to see the history of Spanish and Roman empire. There are many other attractive places around the corner. I am sure you will love it if u r in Madrid and wants to enjoy some free time.

The monument itself is not that amazing but when the sunset hit the sky the location is precious. I have been there during the sunset and it is great. Also one day there were two guys playing the guitar and quite a lot of people gathered. Lovely and relaxing.

In the midst of a lovely park. Unique ancient Egyptian structure in Madrid. Offers great opportunities for good photographs during sunrise and sunset.

It's a nice place to spend 15 min to half an hour if you're already in the area. It's inside a long park which is a nice, but somewhat uphill, walk

Awesome photos at sunset. Also a lot of locals in the surrounding park giving it a little local flavour

Beautiful park setting. The monument itself was a gift from Egypt to Spain which is pretty cool. When we went it was closed so we were unable to go in. Not as many people come to this compared to other sites in the city which is nice as sometimes it feels like you’re the only ones there. The park that surrounds it is lovely to just relax from all the walking, catch some shade under the trees and watch all the doggies go by. For good photos I would suggest coming for sunset

This is my favorite spot to take guests and tourists visit Madrid. Aim to go before sunset and you can walk around the park, see the beautiful grounds and enjoy the breathtaking views once the sun starts the set and the colors shift. Take some picnic food maybe sneak in some drinks and you have a wonderful Spanish evening

Looks better on picture. Currently there's no water in the pool. Nice and calm park with a view of the Royal Palace and the west of Madrid.

Beautiful place. Good to enjoy a bright sunny day in the Madrid winter. Sit and relax, plan a picnic with friends, or just walk around and soak the old city sights. Walkable distance from the palace. You can also find large binoculars placed here, but they did not work

Couldn't actually go into the temple (it's made to go in, but it was never open for some reason). But the view of the city from the temple's vantage point is breathtakingly beautiful, and is totally worth the climb. People had blankets spread on the greens, having picnics while we were there. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good number of tourists, but not at all hectic or crowded.
Mar Margiu 14, 2018
The approach to the temple is dramatic, arousing curiosity to its peak, but as you reach the hilltop, the same level as the Temple, you find its out of limit to tourists. There are security guards every where, making sure none of the visitors step anywhere close to the structure. There’s no entry ticket, still it would have been worth the walk in the heat if we were able to step inside. On top of the hill behind the temple, you can get a lovely view of Madrid, take photos, get an afternoon siesta or just stroll. Playing merrily on his violin you may find the local musician playing “Despachito” or one of the favorites.

Wasn’t open. Down for renovation there are much better places in Madrid to spend your time. There is a look our point at the back of the temple to the left of the Royal Palace.
