The noodles there is the best. The street aren't too crowded so it was quite nice walking around and looking at stuffs. This place is sells a lot of clothes and bags and other normal stuffs that a market would have BUT it wasn't too expensive so you can get stuffs with "good quality" for such a good price.

It's a busy roundabout surrounded by bus stops that lead to various places. There's always a huge crowd and hustle bustle. I took great pictures of the monument during sunset. The people are really helpful with directions, one just needs to ask politely.

This is a big intersection point for many places of Bangkok. I took a bus ride to and fro from my hotel "The Victory Residences" to the palace area. Buses are air-conditioned and has a waste basket. Services are frequent but traffic jam is enormous. But people do not show any exasperation due to stuck up traffic nor do they honk as you find in India. The train line takes a loop around the monument, thus not disturbing the importance of the monument. Long sky walk is available for people to go around the whole circle. Adherence to traffic by locals is very good, 3xcept for bikers. They do flout red lights but never aggressive to now you down. Be rest assured about "no horn" practice followed by one and all.

The momument is place on in the middle of a busy round about. It's like a scare from a more nationalist (euphemism for fascistic) times in the 40's. The malls and food stalls cater the many hurried commuters that pass through this area as many bus lines stop here. The food qualiter satisfy the "quick bite" category but don't expect any gems in the rough when you sit down.

What I like is was a platform that help you very easy to get on Sky Train or cross over the street, and you in Bangkok if you are foot passenger yo not have priority at all. :)
