Amazing structures. If you love ancient history, you got to see this. How on earth did they build these temples. With no technology at all. Only tools of stones or woods. Scientist go easily around the fact that it is impossible to cut stone with tools of the same hardness and material as the stone itself. You need material that is harder to cut softer materials the way like they did. But the same scientist also state that there wasn't any harder material at the time, because the structures were build in the neolithic time area around 3600 BC. Even today with all the technology at our disposal we find difficulties to build structures on spots like these. Archipelago Maltais, it was build by our ancestors with the help of extraterrestrials.

The place is quite big, more so than I thought and the visitor route takes you around as well as inside, up close with this ancient structure. There are several plaques explaining what you're seeing, but I would actually love even more. Also, it's great Malta does these open days where you can visit for free, but it does get really crowded then too.

Amazing temples ! Really interesting and majestic .They are quite big ,there is a wooden walkway that takes you around and in the Temples .There is a huge tent covering them too .Before you enter ,there is a building with a souvenir shop that has great selection of souvenirs and a ticket booth .Really worth visiting here ,not far there is the Hypogeum that however you need to book months before you enter .

Great place - a must see. I was surprised with cats being all over this place. They were a wonderful addition! ;)

So, fair warning. I am a history and pre history nerd. I loved the site which has a huge number of buildings which are thousands of years old. The site is remarkably well preserved and walking among the temples was amazing. However, the audioguide was just a guy reading out the signage and pretty poor. It could do with a lot more explaining and context for what is a world class site. Feels underused.

Fascinating temple complex dating from 3600 to 3000 B.C. , it's 6 euros per person and it goes to help keep the place open and further renovations and excavations

The Tarxien Temples provide a fantastic insight the ancient history of Malta. It is well worth the admission price and has lots of information to read. I would recommend a visit to the temples for adults and children aged 12+ years, it is not to be missed!

Must visit! Historical remains that are a must see for anyone in Malta! They have been beautifully restored showcasing the temple as it would have been originally built.

That is awesome! Only 6 eur for big area with aged temples, free app audioguide. Worth spending time to reach them. Cheap souvenirs However, two temples in Hagar Qim are much more breathtaking then these ones. These two ones worth to see, but not Skorba temples
