A cool, walkable place to visit. The fort is interesting, and the gallery informative. However, the history actually visible is mostly relatively recent, not covering that much of the earlier dilmon history.

Good place to watch the sunset. Very small fort, no information available. You can just walk in. We were the only people present in the fort.

Old buildings and structures teach us about the history that happened before we were born and promotes the respect for those who lived in different times and different societies. These Architectural monuments cultivates pride of past and heritage , unfortunately Arad fort doesn't appear to be any of those descriptions . Entry was denied ? ( 21 Sep 17 ) reasons not known , no information about the fort can be seen anywhere . Seems like no interest to preserve the past glory and rich cultural heritage. It is a very tiny structure in comparison with other forts around the world still it has its own relevance to the society , wished it be maintained .

An old Fort with a nice sea view. The place is usually not crowded. Check with the authorities before planning a visit. Good to bring kids...enjoyable

One of the main historical sites of Bahrain. Located near Seef Mall in Muharraq. Though it’s small, high on historic value. Very beautiful venue and park developed around it. Perfect for strolls and picnics. Ample parking spaces. Many cultural programs and events are organized by the Bahrain Government here.

One of the well know historical sites in the Kingdom, definitely worth a visit, several cultural events are hosted on the fort site , I'd really recommend visiting Arad fort, you should also follow Bahrain's Cultural Authority on Instagram for their events calendar or through their website, most events are already paid by the government and well organized with world renowned artists
