Old Granada Studios (known simply as Granada Studios and previously known as The Manchester Studios) is a television studio complex and events venue on Quay Street in Manchester with the facility to broadcast live and recorded television programmes. The studios were formerly the headquarters of Granada Television and later ITV Granada from 1956 to 2013. After a period of closure, five of the six studio spaces were reopened under the All Studios banner in 2018. The studios are the oldest operating purpose-built television studios in the United Kingdom pre-dating BBC Television Centre by five years.
They were previously home to the world's longest-running serial drama, Coronation Street, as well as other long-running shows such as the quiz show University Challenge and the current affairs documentary series World in Action. As well as being the oldest television studios in the United Kingdom, the studios also held the Beatles' first television performance in 1962 and the first general election debate in 2010.

Stag Party. Would definitely recommend this place for parties or just a fun experience for friends. We had a group of 5 and despite the recommendation of 8 people per group, we felt like 5 was the best number like the TV show. We got 3 games each which felt like good value for money and we each got to try different types of challenge. Some were quite tricky but all were great fun (the hard ones were a good opportunity to get excited and shout at the poor person in the room). The Maze felt very true to the TV show and our guide (Ignatius "Iggy" the Wizard) was perfect. He was so enthusiastic and he even provided little non-sequiturs behind us whilst we were watching the challenges (as if he was talking to the audience at home). The scenery was beautiful and the transition between zones was fun and thrilling as we ran between each. This is a must-visit attraction for fans of the show. It's as good as being on the show yourself.

Sounds like a good idea and to say youve done it, and it is great reliving the experience as if it were the TV program. However the price you pay, each person gets about 2 games, 2 minutes each, so 4 minutes of play time max for £36. The games are also quite boring or very difficult, and its all over in a blink anyway. If you're around the area I'd say try it but it's not worth making a journey for. Staff and maze guide were both excellent and full of enthusiasm.

Great experience. Just like on TV. Good fun and good games. Well worth a try. Even if you are not a fan of the show. The staff take on roles well and the zones and games are to a very good standard. Highly recommended for all age groups

Cards on the table first. I was never a huge fan of the TV programme. Our group of 3 (should have been 6 but the weather put paid to that) had an absolute blast, the difficulty of the games is perfectly judged and everything runs so smoothly, so that you don't even notice the games being reset, other teams being shown around etc. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and our maze guide (apologies if that's not the correct term) Tabby was highly personable, with a fine line in witty asides and some much-deserved light mockery as we found new ways of grasping defeat from the jaws of victory before belatedly hitting out stride. All in all a faultless experience, now I just need to find an excuse to return.

Fantastic experience. Great staff and really well put together. Challenges harder than we thought. Well worth a second visit!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT - IF I COULD GIVE THIS 0 STARS I WOULD. I booked for a group of 6 for my works do costing me £240. The tickets had the show time in bold on the top as per the time I booked. In the middle of the tiny small print of the T&Cs it states you need to be there 30 minutes before. Sadly I missed this and we all arrived 10 minutes before and the not so nice duty manager was delighted to tell me he couldn't let us in because I hadn't followed the T&Cs. Sadly only one minute prior to me arriving he had sad he would squeeze the first few of the group that had arrived. Not sure what difference 60 seconds made but he certainly enjoyed telling me we had all lost out. I did question had it been detrimental to you doing the activity why wasn't the required arrival time on the top in bold, same way you have a boarding time for a plane. His answer was that I should have read the T&Cs cos its there in the small print. I then tried calling them the following 4 days and left 3 answer phone messages to which no one called me back. When they did finally answer their response was that they can't do anything because its in their T+Cs. They preferred to lose 6 clients cos he appreciated I wasn't going to pay another £240 again. To top it off the guy on the phone told me how wonderful they are because they always bend over backwards and try and accommodate late comers and in the past they have had actors stay until later where they haven't been able to squeeze people in to other show times. I love how they can tell me that they pick and chose when to stick to the T+C's. The most unprofessional business ever. As a business owner I couldn't imagine screwing my clients over for their money or being so smarmy about it.

Visited yesterday with my 2 sons (18,19). Was given as birthday treat from my wife. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were able to play as a team of 3,which was a surprise as I was expecting us to be part of a team of 8 people. This meant we played loads of challenges. Our guide around the gaming zone was excellent and really kept the whole experience as close to the TV version as possible. Can't wait to return one day.

My family and I just had the most amazing time. It’s actually like the programme. The attention to detail is just incredible. We definitely recommend. Thank you to your wonderful staff. Ben the wizard was exceptional. We will be returning very soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went on Sunday for a friends birthday and had a very enjoyable time... I used to love the Crystal Maze with Richard O'Brian when I was growing up, so it was super fun to do the LIVE experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the set is a_maze_ing and the games are challenging and fun. I deducted a star simply because I found the personna and patois of our 'Guide' to be a little grating and actually took me out of the mood a little... but overall it was a really fun experience and I would highly recommend it.
