Fascinating, diverse and eclectic exhibitions presented in an imaginatively extended space that lets the gallery reach out into the surrounding park. The art garden was full of enticing scents even in the chilly February sunshine. I missed the old displays of Arts & Crafts movement work, but the refurbished space alone was worth the visit. Light, airy (and very popular) cafe with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks including craft beers, cakes and light meals.

Such a wonderful, contemplative space. Come and lose yourself in art for a few hours, its the most relaxing and interesting and thought-provoking thing in the world.

A modern place to access some quality art. So nice to see so many young adults. The place also has two unique shops.

Unfortunately when in the cafe doing work we were asked to leave in order to accommodate for other customers, despite us having bought food and drinks, and plenty of other tables being available. This unfortunately made us feel very unwelcome and unlikely to return here. Despite this, the Whitworth is a lovely gallery and cafe and a great place to visit.

I've been visiting the Whitworth for close on 30 years and I've always enjoyed the artwork. It makes sense to check what exhibitions are on beforehand as they have a wide variety of art and crafts that are not to all tastes. The new extension is superb and worth a visit on it's own.

Changing exhibitions, regular family events and the feeling of outside-in for much of the gallery. Fab cafe with glorious park view. Plus great kids play area linked to the gallery in the neighbouring park.

One of the best cafe arround! Amazing glass views and the food is top notch. Gallery is always changing with lots of interesting displays. You never know what is next! Sometimes modern and sometimes classic. With lots of sculptures. Really well done layout with good disabled accessibility and facilities. It's been done up to a high modem standard and there is lots for kids to do also. With a special kids activities kit as you go round.

Love this small yet well curated gallery. Sometimes we just need a space like this to be reconnected to life and art - for sure it doesn't take a louvre to do so. Adore!

Good museum with exhibits changing regularly. Well laid out. Very good cafe/restaurant worth a visit there alone yet another place I recommend.

Whether you like art or not, go here. Art, gardens, park, cafe. An inspirational place. The staff and volunteers work very hard to offer something for everyone.
