È la chiesa della parrocchia di San Sebastian ed è situata nell'antico quartiere di Quiapo, uno dei quartieri centrali e storici della città .
Completata nel 1891, la chiesa di San Sebastian è un esempio di architettura neogotica nelle Filippine, è anche l'unica chiesa nelle Filippine con struttura portante in acciaio. In virtù di queste particolarità nel 2006 venne candidata per l'inclusione nella lista dei patrimoni dell'umanità , la candidatura venne ritirata nel 2015 a causa del decadimento strutturale dell'edificio.

San Sebastian Church is located in old Manila, and is all made of steel fabricated from Europe. Outside the powder blue facade looks very plain and dainty, inside, the old steel walls were painted to look like marble. Antique wood carvings can be found inside. The church is a popular venue of chic weddings.

Going here in an afternoon to just pray and relax is one of the most enjoyable thing to do. The Gothic architecture is really beautiful. The guards are nice people as well.

I have not gone inside this church but I appreciated the detailed architectural design and the structure of this church. Lot's of parking space outside and some few street foods just after existing the gate. People are safe here because there are some security guards standing by near the church since said church is beside the entrance of san sebastian college and st. Rita college
