The Marseille transporter bridge, inaugurated in 1905 and destroyed in 1944, was a crossing of the Old Port of Marseille, designed by engineer Ferdinand Arnodin.
The bridge of Marseille was built in nineteen months to connect the quays of the Rive Neuve. It was inaugurated on 15 December 1905. In the 1930s, it served only as a decoration, due to the lack of means to maintain it.

A place where you can go to simple be while you contemplate the Mediterranean Sea. You usually have a gigantic wheel or activities in the area. If you ever feel the need to recharge your batteries simply seat next to the sea and breathe in

A special place which has been nicely refurbished over the past years. This is an iconic site of Marseille where all the local inhabitants meet each other around a pastis, buy some food at the sea food market, or simply walk along the dock. This is the perfect place to be immersed in the south culture.
