Lovely building filled with interesting memorabilia
OMG this little treasure was out of their world. ALL of the volunteers in the museum were bloody brilliant. They gave us all a personal tour of the place. Never knew it was as big as it is. Brilliant members there to help you out. Best $10 we have ever spent. Our Pommies visitors with us love it too.
What a great museum!! And only $6 for adults!! The volunteers really love to be there and really want to help. Very knowledgeable helpful and willing. Can't compare to our War Memorial in Canberra but a really special place honouring our Aussie heroes- tributes, artefacts from Gallipoli, WW1 WW2 Vietnam Afghanistan... a really special vehicle out the front...get up close and personal to uniforms medals and displays...go and see - support the locals!!
Maryborough has one of the oldest histories in the area. This museum and surrounding buildings help to tell the story.
Very friendly staff who went out their way to educate us on the history of the displayed artifacts. Very affordable to get in. Well worth the visit.
Great place to visit. All staff are volunteers and do a great job.
This would have to be one of the best museum's to rival the Australian War Memorial.
