The Museum of Modern Art of Medellín (MAMM, Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín) is a museum of modern art in the Colombian city of Medellín. It was founded in 1978.
Many artworks by Débora Arango, who was born in Medellín, are part of the museum's collection. Leiko Ikemura had a show at the Museum in 1999.
Spent a couple of hours meandering through the various salons and walked away fulfilled. It was recommended to take the elevator to the fifth floor and work our way down. I appreciated descriptions offered in English so that my children could understand the work they were viewing.

Full disclosure, we did not go into the museum. We were there simply to appreciate a little modern architecture in the city. This is beautiful architectural gem within walking distance of the El Poblado neighborhood.

That's a nice place to take a point of view about de local modern and past art. It's interesting that you can find different art styles, iconic artist of the city from 1940 to now and good released spaces. It's sad that this museum facilities are not prepared for big format art pieces. Usually the time to walk all the spaces could be under 2 hours. Don't hesitate to go to the roof and enjoy the good view of the city.

It pains me to give such a poor rating to an art museum, but it was really that disappointing. It's a lot of empty space with very little art on display. I was excited to see the Debora Arango collection, because I think she was amazing, and I've read that she donated over 200 of her paintings to the museum. Unfortunately, they had only 3 on display. ☹️. There was an interesting and thoughtful special exhibit on parrots and the Araceibo radio telescope

Mediocre art in a building with more security guards than visitors. They don’t have much on display. The terrace offers a decent view.

Visited a wonderfully diverse exhibit on sexuality, gender, and human dignity. Gorgeous view from the rooftop garden. Loved it!

For me it was underwhelming. Not much to see. For the price it was good but I wish I could see more. Maybe it was the day I went.

Excelente lugar y muy buena colección en las salas.

A balanced experience of arquitecture, art and public space. Collections represent traditional and modern art with a bit of humor, criticism and abstractionism. You can spend half day in a smooth environment

Small modern art museum with interesting exhibitions. The roof has a great view and it’s got a lovely space around it ideal for events.
