After reading a number of other (mostly bad) reviews I expected the worst, but was pleasantly surprised with the place & had no significant issues with it. Overall, our stay was fine, good value & suited our needs. I wouldn’t suggest it for a romantic ‘in room’ getaway, or two week stay, but if you’re looking for a cheap place to crash for a night or two that’s clean & tidy, close to city, includes a basic breakfast & has free onsite parking, then I’d happily recommend it. Our visit was just an overnight ‘crash’, so we spent little time in the room when weren’t asleep, & the place was well suited for that type of stay. Sure the rooms were basic, relatively small & could do with a little ‘updating’, but for what we paid, it represented great value. Our room was clean & tidy with no unpleasant smells or other evidence of previous occupants. Everything we needed was available, & it all worked fine. The bed was comfortable, with clean sheets & decent pillows. It was quiet enough inside the room, especially when we were trying to sleep, although there was a bit of outside noise coming in when we left for the evening about 9pm on a Saturday night. The curtains on the room’s single window were thick enough to block out the light in the morning, a problem I’ve had in rooms costing twice the price. The bathroom was clean & again, everything in it worked well. The supplied breakfast was fine & filled the cracks after a big night (2 ‘single-serve’ packets of cereal, 4 slices of fresh white bread + assorted condiments, UHT milk & 2 UHT boxes of orange ‘fruit juice drink’). Although we had little interaction with the reception staff apart from checking in & out, when we did they were smiling, friendly & happy to help.
Great sized room. We opted for a spa room for a little extra and was well worth it. Clean not the greatest appearance but very serviceable. Friendly staff and some tight parking
Staffs are very kind. When you have a problem they will come to help you directly. Good staffs. This motel has free WiFi, hot water and car park. I can hear the sound of walking on the second floor easily. But if you can hear the noise, staffs will take care of it. The price is reasonable. I will stay here next time.
