As one of the few places open on New Years Day, it was relatively lively and worth a quick visit at night. Families, couples, children, & singles mutually enjoyed the plaza without problems. Great place you sit down, enjoy some gelato, & relax on a summer night.

Great park on the middle of everything, would be nice to know when the main fountain will be working, heard it is going on years of no use...

The heart of Mendoza. It is a great walk starting from Peatonal Sarmiento, one stop on Independence Square, them go ahead algo Sarmiento Street. Finally Ending on Cerro de la Gloria in Dan Martin Park. Great day!!!

The main plaza. It has a lot of artisans that made awesome stuff. I mean, really handamade stuff. Argentina is often filled with "artisans" that sell unoriginal, industrial stuff. These are real artisans that make handmade stuff. It has a fountain that is supposed to be awesome, yet I've gone to mendoza for 10 years and not a single time I've ever seen it working. Locals also told me it doesn't work. A pitty, since its's the main plaza. Good place to go, also, I think there is a museum under the fountain, or something like that, never visisted it though.

Nice area to walk around while in mendoza city. Has a playground for children, a street market, venders, and public entertainment occasionally.

Promedio 4,3 estrellas???
