Lummus Park is a 74-acre (30 ha) public, urban park in Miami Beach (Miami-Dade, Florida), on the Atlantic Ocean.
The park is on the eastern side of Ocean Drive, from 5th to 15th Streets. When redesigned and improved in the mid-1980s, it became part of the project for the redevelopment of what is now the Miami Beach Architectural District of South Beach. Along Ocean Drive, the park shows grassy areas and palm trees, alongside volleyball courts and pull up bars. A wavy pedestrian walk, called the Promenade, separates the grass of the park and the beach up to 21st St, where it turns into boardwalk. The sidewalk is inspired by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx's oceanfront walk along Copacabana Beach near Rio de Janeiro.

I absolutely love Lummus Park,l! Every time I come to south beach I take walk down the palm lined promenade to soak in views of the art deco architecture of Ocean Drive. Beyond it's fantastic views, a stroll through this park saves you from the never ending harassment that is walking down the restaurant lined sidewalk across the street, where even if you're carrying a bag full of food, a host or hostess is sure to try to get you to sit for dinner. Lummus Park is a gem of South Beach that offers an escape from the madness, while remaining at the center of it all. Check it out.

We went to this park after a cruise, and my entire family enjoyed it. Just try to take your own snacks and bottled waters. I paid $65 For some snacks for 5 people. But what do you do ?

We visited here in March. Miami Beach is my favorite place that I had dreamed that I'd like to go some day. Beautiful sunset... Blue ocean... White sanded Beach... These are unforgettable for me. You should visit here with your beloved persons. Just my recommend. Please enjoy your life.

This is an expansive park that stretches many blocks in South Beach, a neighborhood within the city of Miami Beach. This is a good place to walk or bike around. Just be aware that they ban electric bikes or any motorized vehicles, including segways, in the area

Very different sand material. More like fine gravel which makes it easier to remove, clean, very large boats nearby. Spacious bathrooms, clean. Life guards on site and very respectful. I would recommend. Downtown shops and restaurants very close.

A relaxing and beautiful park. Well taken care of. The smell of fresh cut grass and the sea air around because of the beach gives me options to picnic or do the beach.

I was here yesterday and i enjoy this park. I have yet to try out the Citi bikes as they have a station here for them and many other places on Miami Beach. There are people who walk around and sell drinks. They are pretty good. Stay away from the Majestic their prices are awful and the drinks dont even give you a buzz.

Really nice and happening park. You could do walking. You could do exercises. You could do eat party in near by restaurant and have fun. You could do surf, cycling with rental bikes so its fun. Also the beach is nice and you could not miss sunrise to see.

Horrible. Only two places to wash off at. They're ALL crowded. Half of the sinks in the women's bathroom do NOT work. They need to install more places to wash sand off at. The prices for things are extremely high. The only bright side is that it's the ocean. There aren't even any seashells. 😤😤

Lummus park is the most happening place in South Beach Miami with plenty of restaurants and night clubs to choose from. There is a park area with lot of activities going on during the day like yoga, skateboarding, gymming, cycling, running or just walking. People just love to walk down the pathway even late at night.

The scenery is very nice! It is nice to grab something to eat on Ocean Drive and then grab some ice cream and go take a walk on the beach. I went there on vacation alone and South Beach was very nice the night life there is also very nice.
