The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a 2.6 acres (1.1 ha) urban green space in Miami Beach, Florida founded in 1962. It was transformed in 2011 with a $1.2 million landscape renovation designed by South Florida landscape architect Raymond Jungles. The new landscape showcases native Florida plants and trees including bromeliads, palms, cycad, orchids and many others. There is a Japanese garden, native garden and bio-swale, and water gardens including ponds, fountains, and a wetland with mangrove and pond apple trees. The renovation also expanded the Great Lawn area for corporate and social events, established a plant nursery and event plaza, and enhanced the night-time lights, entrance gate, and pathways.
The Garden offers free admission and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beautiful, except I did not have access to the whole garden because there was a wedding. The parts we did see were beautiful. The gift shop worker help us and showed us some nice places to go such as Graffiti Gardens which was also beautiful. This was such a nice botanical gardens place which was located right next to the Holocaust Memorial

Beautiful garden, held my small wedding ceremony in the Japanese Garden this past weekend. Maurice is so attentive and cool/collected, everything is smooth when this man is present. I enjoyed all aspects, from booking, communication to day -of details. I highly recommend this garden and Maurice to guide you on your big day!

Smaller than I expected, but it was beautiful. We went here after getting off our cruise ship while we were waiting for our hotel to let us check in. The memorial right next to it is stunning as well.

Nice local park with small food and coffee outlets inside. They have a small lecture/event room available for hire. Public restrooms available. The small gift shop offers unique items such as hand crafted items. Good location to relax within walking distance to the Lincoln road mall.

Hidden oasis in a sea of concrete. A beautiful garden like this every 5 blocks would be fantastic. A bit noisy at present due to surrounding construction, but still a wonderfully beautiful garden to visit for an hour. Pleasant staff as well.

This was just so tranquil and beautiful in amongst all the hustle and bustle of Miami. Free to enter. Meticulously maintained.

Its small, but cute and well-taken care of. There are many small sections with cute details and great spots for pictures. Best of all, its free! Highly recommend!

This is free and well worth the visit. When we were there there was a lot of construction going on so parking was an issue. But the gardens itself are very lovely.

It is a free Botanical Garden. It is so beautiful that professionals photographer pays 50 $ to be allowed to have people photos, weddings, 16th...the place is small, but charming, the staff is very nice, the man in the store loves his job...any contribution would be nice...

It's ok. Very small, clean, plenty of room to sit (chairs & shaded grassy areas). Since they can't bring in invasive or non-native plants, everything looked rather tame. Definitely more beneficial for nearby locals.

Beautiful scenery, wish we had a guide and more interaction with staff...needed a tour guide to explain the history behind the location and fun facts...
