When I was there few years ago I couldn't believe: it is a real gem, a bit hidden but full of amazing early 1900 Italian art, amazing works. Take your time if you're in town, it's really better than other touristic places in town, and really less crowded. A must.

I went at 6pm on Friday night and it was free. The art is beautiful and well placed. It's surreal. The attendants are very friendly and spoke English. And you can take photos.

Nice gallery showing Italy's use of art through ultra nationalism, to facism, up to the present day. Some extraordinarily contemporary pieces in the shadow of the plaza.

The museum is an exhibits 20th century Italian art. I would not say the museum is very large and it's the views of the Piazza del Duomo from the top floor with its light sculpture that are most interesting.

Had a lot of interesting paintings, some of them were a bit dull though... The installations are TOTALLY worth it so I would recommend you just sign the release... Unless you are epileptic, they'd kill you... Mostly Italian artists but at the time there was at least one Picasso which was nice...
