Very nice museum, a lot of interactive explanations and games. It's very big, it took me more than 6 hours to visit it thoroughly. And it really deserves your attention! Particularly loved the particle science section and the telecommunications section, be sure not to miss them! There is a picnic area, you can bring your own food and drinks.

A wonderful place to spend a day. Make sure you have lots of time as there are quite a lot to see. Fun for kids and adults. Some of the interactive installations didn't work properly, unfortunately, and the museum was quite hard to find. Beyond that, it was quite good fun.

One of the best museums I hav ever visited. You can easily spend there whole day. They have a lot of models of Leonardo Da Vinci inventions, exhibition of space, earth, musical instruments, technology, agriculture, boats, planes, trains and also one submarine on the yard. Really great place to visit. The great thing is that it is partially interactive, you can touch some of the things or try how they work.

Hands down the best science and technology museum anywhere. The artifacts and exhibits are excellent. You could easily spend several days here. That said, there are lots of exhibits with lots of text, which may not interest younger children. Food options are also limited to the God Save The Food good truck (very good) and vending machines, so pack a lunch if you want more and eat in the cafe space provided inside or in the courtyard.

Wonderful museum.. only had a couple of hours for a visit but the English speaking guide was amazing. Poor choice on food and beverages.. just machine dispensing!!

Wanna spend whole day wondering about Leonardo's geniality and and let yourself be taught on all knowledge of mankind from materials, cooking through particle physics and space travel. Then this is the right place to go. The space exploration area is packed with interactive activities for kids as well. Don't miss the transportation building and the submarine interior visit. Take some food with you, the visit can easily stretch to half a day and there is no Cafe in the premises, only few vending machines in one of the buildings

Such a nice and interesting museum. It is a must go for Milano. I would advise you to go in the morning as you will spend at least 3 hours to visit the whole museum. It has 3 floors but very long and interesting rooms starting from history of communication and space to chemistry and biology. They have a lot of Leonardo's work there too explained very well. 7,50 euros for the kids and 10 euros for the adults. 4.50 if you arriv 1 hr before closing but you won't have the time to visist it in 1 hour. Worth every cent. Have a nice trip.

Huge museum with many educational materials specially for the little kids. Admission is 10 euros for the adult, 7.5 euros for the children and free for below 3. The staff are really friendly. The instructions and information are mainly Italian but are also available in English. Many resting seats and area. For snacks, only vending machines are available with reasonable prices but no restaurant. They allow food from outside in the picnic area. Parkings are available near by. And several pizzerias and snacks shops are outside near the museum

It’s been one of the best experience of my life. Every single time. Aside of being plenty of activities for kids, there is also plenty of interesting things for adults who never gave up learning. At the first building you can find Leonardo’s machine built (On a small scale) and working, an exposition about space, one about music, one about artisans, one about technology. Too many to remember them, maybe too many for one time. Second building: real trains and a real submarine that you can visit if you book ahead (beware, book few weeks before). Third building: naval and flight exposition. There is a real sail boat from 1900 I guess, and different boats through the history. Plus, on the top floor you can find planes and an helicopter simulator. Then it’s enough, so you can go home through a really cool shop where they sell robotics and other really interesting thing. Really suggested for families, but also for couples. Kids will have fun there, believe me. Check out the website to see what are the activities they can do (there’s really plenty of them). Only downside: there is no restaurant. Upside: there is a place where you can eat. It has vending machines with food, but why not eat healthier and save money? Anyway: price is fair, activities are awesome. You have to go there. Period.

Interesting, good for children and families. Layout is a bit confusing, get a map! Need half a day to fully explore whole museum. Wish there was more in the Leonardo da Vinci section.

What an amazing place. I was on a business trip and had some spare time. I spent hours there. Too much stuff to see and appreciate. They had lockers so I could keep my luggage there too as I had checked out and had light luggage. Not a lot of English translation but sufficient I guess. Perfect for families.

This is one of Milan's hidden gems. We discovered it quite by accident, and spent quite a few hours in there. The Leonardo da Vinci exhibits on the first level of the main building were fascinating, and so was the air and water building, with its America Cup finalist catamaran, the Luna Rossa as the highlight. We could have easily spent a few days here.

This museum has a great variety of exhibits. You can easily spend a whole day there. Rich in infographic and nicely designed displays, it's a fun museum experience. During my visit, there was a temporary section on Mars which was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic place. Will take more than 3 hours to visit it. Costs less than 'Last supper', but much more enjoyable. A lot of entertainments for kids, great temprorary exhibitions, awesome souvenir shop.

Super interesting and exciting museum! Very well organized overview of the science development, with a focus on the Italian contribution to the World’s progress of science! Maybe the most attractive item is an Italian military submarine positioned in the garden. There are several pavilions and several refreshment points through the Museum. Nevertheless, I would suggest taking a bottle of water and a sandwich as it takes more then 3h to visit all museum! Enjoy it!

As a curious person this was perfect. It took well over an hour and all the different themes enclosed was interesting. At the time of this review some of the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition was closed for renovations, and it was not to open again for a while. A few of the more 'hands on' exhibitions were broken, but not in a way that ruined the experience. If you like either history or science, I would recommend this to you.

This place is amazing. You can experience the evolution of technology with lots of well organized exhibits into different themes areas. You can even find real trains, airplanes, boats and a submarine. It’s very big so plan your visit accordingly. If you have kids they are going to enjoy it.

While this museum wasn't on our "to do" list, I don't regret at all choosing to visit this amazing museum. The whole place is huge and you need some good hours to visit all the sections. The coolest sections are the interactive ones, or at least the ones that are opened and available, because when we were there, not all of the sections were opened. Nevertheless, we had a great time and we enjoyed every minute.
