Lovely beach. Well kept. But the people who work there are not very nice.
One of the best beaches on the island to visit. Clean, great service from the bar and grill. Food is awesome. Starbucks coffee shop too.
Private beach club. You must pay to enter but it is a good deal for your money. They have a great food service with waitresses that will walk to where you are at the beach and get you what you want. Service is friendly and worth the price (which is acceptable). The beach is beautiful, white sand with light blue water.
Walked here from Toby's Resort. There is an entrance fee here but it wasn't much (can't remember how much it was for sure). It was worth the price for sure. We had beef patties here and they were delicious. We did some snorkeling as there was a small bit of reef within the swimming area. It was the first time I ever snorkeled so I thought it was pretty nice, even found a live conch which I put back after getting pictures. There were changing rooms and places to eat and everyone working there was very pleasant and helpful. The floating trampolines are a nice touch for young adults and/or teens. The bad is that about halfway out to where the bit of reef was there was about a 3 meter wide area of trash on the bottom at the sand. You couldn't see it from the beach, only when snorkeling, but it was enough to only give this beach 4 stars. Hopefully it has been taken care of since as otherwise the beach is very nice.
If you're looking for that post card perfect beach, this is it. White sand, coconut trees, gentle waves and cool water. I visit every time I go to Jamaica (about twice a year). Just get there early if the cruise ships are in and find your seat. They cram every visitor that pays onto the beach. If you want an ocean view, you better get 5 feet away from the water or they'll put someone in front of you. If you'd rather relax and nap under the coconut trees, don't expect to much of a beach view. If the ships aren't in, then don't worry and be happy.
Doctor's Cave Bathing Club is a beautiful private beach, right next door to Starbucks, where you can find chairs, umbrellas, beverages and food at good prices. Getting there may cost $20 to $50, depending on the business with the driver. Montego has some "approved" (unofficially) rates but it is possible to negotiate just asking. At Doctor's Cave each chair costs $6, the umbrella costs $6 and the water may cost up to $6 half a liter. The beach has showers, bathrooms and other facilities. The view is really really beautiful, with a deep blue sea and low waves that allow kids to play in the water. Must come here.
I have been to the beach part of this and it was great 8 dollars for a one day pass for the day. The water was very warm and it was see threw at least up to 6 ft. Under water. It was very nice and it was very clean there on the beach
This beach club is simply fantastic. It is great for your morning swims as it’s normally empty during the week days. It has breathtaking views, cool relaxing palm trees and the best thing of all is that it has a Starbucks on the beach. It has amazing white sand with clear blue waters. It has two docks that you can take beautiful panoramic shots of the property or just Instagram ready photos. It cost about 7 bucks to enter but you don’t have to leave the beach to get authentic Jamaican food. It has everything you need in one spot from the sand bar and grill. The meal prices are not cheap and are in the mid range but it is affordable.
