Beautiful view of the city! Even in the winter it is a fairly easy walk to get up there as there are stairs and the path is well maintained. There is a cafe on site which is relatively expensive and based on my sample pretty mediocre fare. As far as I can tell the hours of operation on Google only apply to the cafe, the main hall and washrooms are open later. The building is great, though I wish they would get rid of those awful blue lights in the chandeliers, the interior furnishings could definitely use some work too, both take away from the architecture. I would definitely recommend the Chalet to anyone visiting the city, it's a great place to take pictures.
Very cute little chalet on top of mont royal, with a brief little history about it. Good place to go to the washroom and grab a map for the hike. The boutique is small.
It’s a great place especially when visiting Montreal. A little bit of a hike but it’s worth because you’ll see a great view of Montreal. I like how they have the historical learning spot where you can actually have a glimpse of Montreal’s history. Also, there’s a cafe so just in case you forgot to bring your coffee or snacks. I would definitely go back and visit this place everytime I visit Montreal. đŸ’¯
This is definately a great place to see when in Montreal. We as a family go yearly. Parking is $$ but if you like to walk, this is a great safe place to do that. You can walk the total of trails in one day if you wish. But you will sleep well after that. There is food near Beaver lake and a snack bar at the chalet near the summit. This is a worthwhile Go see!
Came here during a cold day. There were barely any people around the top so it was nice and peaceful with the open space. Had heard that it gets super crowed during the hotter days. We warmed up inside the building behind the Terrance overlook. It's def worth the visit.
