We went to see the Phantom of the Opera. My wife loved it but said it was not like the Broadway deal. I am not a fan of opera so I need to be honest and say I didn't enjoy. A bunch of arguing while singing is not what I would call a nice experience. As for the location, it's the nicest venue I have been to next to the Stanley theater in New York. Drinks are quite expensive. Awesome atmosphere.
It feels amazing to be in such a place where people can express, perform, and convey their emotions through art. Pretty much connected to the metro station so it is convenient to commute to come here. The artists from all over the world come here to perform, thus making it a global platform for art lovers and art exhibitors to connect via the common medium of their interest. Above all, it even is connected with world-famous underground Montreal city. If you are feeling hungry or want to have a quick bite, either you can grab a coffee with any of the tastiest savories at Van Houtte or can pick the meal of your choice from the food court of Complex Desjardins which is next door (again connected via underground pedestrian tunnel). All in all a great place to be with friends, family, art lovers, etc. Not to forget it is very much on the popular Rue St Catherine so if you are here that means you are in downtown. Moreover, old port is not too far away, you can choose to walk on a bright sunny day and in 15 minutes you will be at beautiful old port of Montreal. Isn't it great that you get all the best things in one platter. 🤗
Seats are comfortable staff is nice. The person i was with had a little panic attack felt restricted because we where in the middle of the row . Staff was nice enough to give her a chair in the back near the door for her to feel more secure. Bathrooms are clean and service by bartenders is nice.
Great place to visit whenever I come into Montreal. There's always something to see and do all year long! Truly enjoyed the Prince tribute exhibition.
We were trying to explore underground city. Place des Arts maybe part of it since it would connect a few malls without walking outside. Maybe I am wrong. Anyway, it is quite nice and quiet to be there. Occasionally they have a small exhibition as well. Like during the Christmas time, you can see and take pictures with Santa. and the rest of the year, they might different things to exhibit.
