Absolute disgrace! If this is the country's top law school, I don't know what kind of places are worse. I came from London and decided to visit a lecture. Went all the way down to this place, registered beforehand as a visitor via their web page. The security would not see my name on the list and let me in. The person in the office next door (who was supposed to provide me with a pass) said she could not care less about my web login, said she never gets any registers except through the chancery and that I should call whoever hosts the lecture to get in - and yet no phone number was provided. Ended up wasting ₽600 on my trip there and back, no way anyone from outside can come and peacefully attend a lecture by a visiting professor. Wish I could get reimbursed for my trip. Expected a lot more from the county's top University.
Worth visiting... Moscow State University was established in 1755. More than 40,000 students (graduate and postgraduate) and about 7,000 undergraduates study at the university, and over 5,000 specialists do the refresher course here. More than 6,000 professors and lecturers, and about 5,000 researchers work for the faculties and research institutes. Every year Moscow University enrolls about 4,000 international students and postgraduates from all over the world.
One of the magnificent Stalin skyscrapers dotted around the city and an absolute must-see. A wonderful campus worth seeing even if you're just passing through. The park behind the university leading to the lecturers' residences is very well maintained. Highly recommended as a photo opportunity.
Amazing building of Stalin time. Do suggest to take a walk from Universitet metro station to the main building of the Moscow State University and later visit the panoramic view point and continue walking down through Vorobievy Gory park. Nice couple hours walk. (Unfortunately you can't enter the building without an invitation from someone who works or study there)
Gorgeous and innovative university in the world, totally different education system, wonderful curriculum vitae Moscow state university in Russia
I have only seen it from outside, but at night the view is unbelievable! Especially that reflection in the pool! It's lit up only till midnight. Be careful, during the world cup, the whole area around it is open only for fans with fan ID. The nearest metro to this building is Vorobyovy gory, but still it's about 30 meters walk from there.
What a wonderful environment to have a university - lots of greenery and large trees. Beautiful buildings too.
Just saw the outside, enormous and beautiful buildings and parcs around.
This place is best. I have just came from there after being there for a long time. This place looks gorgoeus both at day and night but at night this place looks like heaven.Very good for studies. All the profesors are kind and smart. Best university in Russia. Just awesome.
