Poklonnaya Gora (Russian: Покло́нная гора́, literally "bow-down hill"; metaphorically "Worshipful Submission Hill"') is, at 171.5 meters, one of the highest natural spots in Moscow. Its two summits used to be separated by the Setun River, until one of the summits was razed in 1987. Since 1936, the area has been part of Moscow and now contains the Victory Park with many tanks and other vehicles used in the Second World War on display.
Historically, the hill had great strategic importance, as it commanded the best view of the Russian capital. Its name is derived from the Russian for "to bow down", as everyone approaching the capital from the west was expected to do homage here. During the French invasion of Russia in 1812, it was the spot where Napoleon in vain expected the keys to the Kremlin to be brought to him by Russians.

The most impressive WW2 museum i have been to without a doubt. It's huge, and there are a number of great dioramas, interactive exhibitions and a 3D movie shown inside a huge domed room. The best parts are inside the museum, but the outdoor exhibitions are also definitely worth a visit, especially if you are interested in WW2 vehicles.

Spectacular!! Interactive museum. Many things to see. Very good war scene demonstrations. Outside area in an amazing park with war tanks, airplanes, helicopters, bunkers and ships. You can spend a whole day in the museum and in the park with war monumets and statues. You can rent bikes and buggies etc. Nice view from top. During dark fountains are amazing in the red lights :)

Loved this Museum! Wasn't too long nor too short. The open air part is wonderful and inside it is wonderfully curated. An exhibition audio guide or maps could improve the experience though.

Muzey Pobedy is a place that everyone should visit. It is museum dedicated to Russian victory in the WWII. Outside there is open air exhibition of tanks and airplanes, including some very rare models of both Axis and Allied tanks. Inside you will find detailed history of great battles from beginning of operation "Barbarossa" to the ultimate attack on Berlin and the end of WWII. Plan your visit in advance, because it will take a better part of the day to go trough all of the exhibits.

The best WWII museums I have ever seen, you can go outside and see all the weponery and machines during the world War 2 and inside is the all important facts about war and fighting soviets against Germans and Japanese. It is breathing and making you to think of the past and what happened. Must visit it is not expensive only 400rub for inside and outside. Take your time, enjoy and educate yourself
