An oasis of calm, serene, old school way of keeping fit and having a nice chat with friends among hustle bustle life of Mumbai. Shivaji park serves as a rendezvous for people of all generations. Youngsters enjoy cricket, football and running. Elders visit the temple within the com8
I along with my family spent two hours in this historical place. Excellent location in Mumbai for morning jogging and evening walking. Senior citizens and children are provided separate gardens for relaxing. There is a small temple also. The ground is sufficient for children of all ages to play. People were playing cricket when I visited. Overall a very nice place.
A very good place to visit with family. But in noon time when garden is closed there is no place with shade to sit near beach making place a little inconvenient for small children's. Shivaji park ground is always best place for small children. Playing area for small ones are very nicely built.
This is a multipurpose ground used for playing, political rallies and meetings. Many people come here mornings and evenings for having fresh air, exercise and or leisurely walk. It is also a meeting place for young people. There is a road around it but it always occupied by parked two or four wheelers. These days the place has become too crowded.
It's a beautiful ground. If you go there early morning, you will find Malakhamb practice on the ground. You will also see police trainees jogging and practicing. Along with that you will with boys playing cricket as well. Besides this, outside the ground you will find people doing their daily exercises. All in all, you will find this place motivates you to get fit.
It's is a big open space in the midst of the clusters of concrete dwellings on one side & a very busy road on the other side. But it's vicinity to the seashore & it's thick greenery make it a nice place to hang around & for walking around it. For those who have been staying in this part of the City, the park has lots of nostalgic memories.
Nice place. Good for children play area. Lot's of ride available. Gym available. Cricket coaching. Football coaching. Gymnastics available. Seating area available for elderly people.
It's a lovely, lively place to go for walks! Or a run too. It's clean and we'll maintained. The gardens around the track are beautiful. There is plenty of place to sit also.
Very Nice Place. You Can Enjoy with your friends and loved ones. Also the sea is near the park which makes it more attractive. The sea is too much near from the park. Also ChaityaBhumi is there. You can Visit that also.
Great development of the park's sea side. There are variously activities organised at certain times. The beach has some chat stalls and few other eatables. The beach is not very clean but decent enough to stroll and spend some time. I would not advise to go in the water due to cleanliness issues. Parking is limited to the extent of not being there at all. Overall a very good place to hang out.
It is really amazing and fun place for all peoples of any age. One can see young cricketers playing and practicing their skills on the ground, some people play and practice 'Mallakhaamb' also and some people come here to relax and to explore in this beautiful place. Nearby there is a sea too.. But it is not clean, local authorities must look in to this. Some cultural events takes place here too. Overall this is very good and awesome place.
Located in a prime location of Dadar this park is full of young n budding cricketers. Also lots of health conscious people either walking around, jogging, working out. There is a Gym also thou I think u need to be a member. There are 2 temples as well ( Devi and Lord Ganesha). During mornings there are some people selling healthy juices. There is a very nice children’s park too! It has slides, swings n lots more.. Around the park one can chill for some coffee at Cafe Coffee Day, some light snacks at Gypsy or hang out at Mad over Donuts... Overall a good place to hang out...
