Shree Mahalakshmi Temple I have been visiting once a week on Friday with my wife ever since we got married more than 30 years back. We get peace in our minds, good positive vibration when we visit the Temple. It is at an height about 40 steps. There are many shops selling flowers, coconut and other materials to offer to Goddesses. There are mainly 3 deities Mahakaali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
Nice temple with arabian sea on one side. Crowd is managed by having two separate queues for ladies and gents. On the back side of the main temple, you can find devotees trying to stick coins to the wall. It is a belief that if the coin sticks to the wall your wish will come true.
Goddess Mahalakshmi temple...so nice one to receipt of good and positive vibes.Must visit with family. Her divine showers us definitely.

Nice and very crowded Temple. One of the most visit place in Mumbai. One has to walk a bit at least 400-500m from main road to reach entrance of the temple. I do not advice you to take your vehicles inside those narrow roads. Because it is difficult to take a U-turn there. There will be a separate queue for men and women. So if you are planning to visit with family make sure you won't get lost in crowd.
Shree mahalakshmi temple Very peaceful, spiritual place. Can find peace here. Very old and famous temple. Usually crowded.very well maintained and management ... different queues for men & women...Feels really blessed and relaxed. It's so peaceful. U can just sit in and enjoy the sound of sea. these is one of the oldest temple in Mumbai, Mornings and evenings are pleasant time to visit this beautiful place.
This temple is extremely divine and peaceful. Situated on Bank of Arabian sea. View is very nice.
Temple by the Sea. Very good queue system with separate lines for men and women. The place isn't very big but they make do quite well with what is available wrt crowd control etc. Leading roads are narrow and usually packed. Parking spots are rare. Better to park in some mall nearby and get a taxi to reach here.
Very nice temple. But there is no place where you can put your boot or shoes. You have to pay 10rs for some shopkeeper there. Nice market around temple. Good food I found in that market. Must take visit to get blessings for MAA Mahalaxmi.
Very nice, neat and clean temple. Not crowded at all on normal days. One can get sea view from back of the temple. Street is little narrow to reach temple.Parking is not readily available. Shoe keeping people will be there free of cost. One should try to paste coin on back wall of main temple. For sitting, place is there.
This is famous temple in Mumbai city. Very nice temples at side by side. Also there is no crowded place. We may visit in any days. But there no stand for keep the shoes...
Its a temple so nothing much can be written but found the temple premises to be clean. However make sure that you have a good 2-3 hours at your disposal as at times the queue can be serpentine. Food options inside the premises are available although within the peripheral area of the temple there isnt a dearth as well. Most of the taxis ferry here and something that i found interesting was these drivers did not charge a rupee more than the meter nor took any tip. So the thought of taxi drivers looting pls steer these thoughts away.
