This is a fantastic real wild animal park to visit. Remember in the whole world it is the only park in a city (Nairobi City). See the big 5. Go into the animal orphanage and see what dedication by the Kenya Wild Life people has done! It is accessible by bus and by public means. Do not miss.
Amazing experience. Especially during lunch time for the animals like the lions. Best experience ever had. I love wild animals
Nairobi national park is the only park within the Nairobi city confines. Having all the big 5 except elephants. And over 400 spices of birds and with a vast savanna landscape. It is worthy to take early morning game drives and evening too.
One of the only city's with a national park which has the big 5! If that isn't beautiful eniu, I don't know if anything will ever come close. But, we must conserve it's beauty collectively.
Great drive. We got to see three of the big five. I recommend going out there either early morning or late evening as you have a better chance of seeing animals as opposed to when the sun is out and hot. Entry rates are affordable for both residents and non residents.
Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and the walking trails for hikers. Blissful sunrises and sunsets blending the African Savannah with Africa's hub, Nairobi.
Nairobi's premier gem that offers a wonderful connection to the wild. Here you have a chance to see Lions, Rhinos, Buffalo, Leopards if you are especially observant. That is 4 of the big five spotted in a day! There are a host of other animals to see as well. The best times are early morning between 5:30 am and 9:00 am and late evening between 05:30 pm and 07:00 pm.
I really enjoyed the game drive,, saw 5 lions ,rhino, giraffe, warthog. It's so nice to see this animals at a close range.. Was lucky to bump into a lion that was on the road walking towards our car,, can't complain. It was a nice terrifying experience. Remember to tag a tour guide with you if it's your first time, its a big park and you can get lost if you don't have one
Good park and great memories. To have a good time, you have to: - visit too early 06:15 am. 🦁 gets breakfast around this time. After 10:00, animals are avoiding the sun. - get enough drinking water before entering. At entrance, you have to mark the gate in maps to get maps support at exit time. There's - no enough signs link your position to exit gates. - some exit gates are for staff only. It's nice to leave the park about 11:00am. Have a great day.
The best tourist destination for game drives, team building and camping experience. Visiting from 6.00am recommended so that you can see the animals before they Hybernate.
Must visit if you’re visiting Nairobi and don’t have much time.. Reach the park before 6:30 AM local time to have the best experience.. If you’re really lucky, you may even catch a live hunt..

It was the best place to be. I enjoyed my time there. I viewed wild animals with the aid of a guide. I can recommend every one to visit the Nairobi National Park
We drove trough Southern Expressway beside Nairobi national park, and lucky to see Zebras here. From Airport to Hotel this path is charming. If you are only visiting Nairobi - This park is highly recommended to see wildlife from very close.
A must visit for tourist visiting Kenya. Its the quickest interaction with nature at its best where visitors get a wonderful chance to enjoy the sunset, Watch world-life, learn about various animals and enjoy a game drive. The Park is only a few minutes drive from the airport and the city centre. Other than the game drive, there is the Animal Orphanage and the Nature trail.
Its always exciting to visit the wild and the national park is a great place to start. I'd advice to go to the park especially the safari drive when its cooler cause when the sun is burning hot, most animals will be hiding. Also all the people who go to the wild and get really close to the animals, please stop. Its not cool watch the animals from a distance. Don't drive your land cruiser or landrover defender almost two feet over the animals. Your disrupting the peace of the animal.
