This temple has great accommodations. Worth a visit.
This temple, Wat Pha Narai Maha Rat, is supposed to be one of the most important temples in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). We went there in March 2018 and had been quite disappointed. The pond surrounding the temple was out of water. It would have been a good chance to clean up all the rubbish, but obviously no one does. Also other surroundings had not been in a condition which would be expected from a main temple. Especially one receiving as much donations as this one. At least part of the money could be used to keep the place tidy. My wife complained about their toilets being extremely dirty. Other temples do it orders of magnitude better.
Toilets are not clean and convenient.
Buddhist temple was named by the King Rama 9th. The number of Buddhist statues were buried in this place before the temple was placed.
Very cool wat, has dragons in the pond.
Love the style that they use to decorate their temple. Always peaceful. Recommended to visit once!!!
