Nothing impressive and the tour is short and definitely expensive. Flora, the guide that leaded the tour in English, looked just bored about what she was doing and her level of English was not high enough. I was really disappointed. Assolutamente niente di impressionante o interessante, carissimo per quel che propone. Non posso credere che a Milano l'Ossario (che è stupefacente) sia gratuito e qua prendano nove euro! Decisamente non ne vale la pena, uno spillar soldi immotivato.

Great experience, the tour guide was very helpful. And they explain everything. The church is very pretty also.

Amazing place. You should definitely book a tour with the local tour guides.

Very interesting catacombs. We have been to several ones in Rome, where one has a church, another one frescoes, another one mosaiques. The ones in naples have all of that, in one place. Moreover, they allow you to make pictures, totally forbidden in Rome. Smaller groups allow you to enjoy them more and reflect on where you are. And this is a social project run mainly by youth and volunteers who show that in this marginal neighborhood there is something truly special. I consider these catacombs hence superior to the Roman ones. Another tip, the nearby catacombs of s Gaudioso show a strange corpse momification and walling in cult that was popular in the 17th century and can hardly be seen anywhere else in the world. You can do both catacombs with the same ticket, valid for one year. Fascinating place.

Astounding catacombs. Actually a graveyard which is underground. It is interesting that these catacombs were used by Christians. Recommended.

Amazing place. Located under the catholic church. I started from this catacombs because it closes earlier. But it's better to start from the San Gennaro catacombs. The ticket is the same and it's possible to buy it at any of these 2 locations. It's valid more than a day so you can visit the second catacombs the next day. The visit was very interesting. We got a lot of information from our English speaking guide

Great that in ticket price there is an official guided tour. I wish every place should have organization this perfect.

Beautiful place. Very imformative English speaking Guide, who too a lot of care to ensure we understood her, the history, and the continuing works been undertaken. Well worth a visit..

Great tour. Very informative and interesting. Run by youths from the local area in an effort to provide jobs and preserve and restore the catacombs.

Really enjoyed this. It was a much more intimate tour than San Genaro (which was also great, don't get me wrong, and your entrance fee/ticket gets you into the other for free by the way). I'd highly recommend. Guide was very knowledgeable, and the church was definitely worth a look also.

A bit disappointing to be honest. Go to the Cemiterio di Fontanella instead. Much more exciting.

This place is awesome. The whole catacombs have a very dense history, with a lot of useful information. The crew are super cool: they have 2 tours at a time, one in Italian and one in English. Our guide, Giulia, was very fluent in at least 3 languages; very helpful, devoted and cute too. Can recommend even more if you're more interested in history than an average tourist

Naples is a great City Catacombs is an experience worth doing for the history and the culture you will learn on one hand and on the other it's a project run by the youth of Naples to enhance the city future please make sure to visit if you're in Naples

An excellent place to visit, very interesting. It is worth noting you can't walk into the catacombs freely, a guided tour must be taken, which depart every hour on the hour. However our tour guide was excellent, she was very knowledgable. The ticket I purchased for Catacombe di San Gennaro included access to these Catacombs as well, so definitely worth the visit, fantastic value for money. Plus the organisation which runs both catacombs is a non-profit who invests in the local area, so you know your money is going to good use. The only downside was that it is only open 10am until 1pm, however you can only access the Catacombs through a church which could explain the limited opening hours. I personally preferred the Catacombe di San Gennaro, but this is still a fantastic visit.
