Good little place. 2p machines could keep kids entertained for a long time . There is cafe's, playroom, near the beach and the prom with good views of Liverpool . Also lots of other things there to have a good day out . Overall a good experience for the whole family .
New Brighton was a regular day out in the summer many moons ago and while I was disappointed that the march of the retail park had trampled all over many childhood memories the indoor arcade and the small selection of rides is holding off progress and keeping alive the days of dropping holiday pocket money into a machine to win some more holiday pocket money to keep putting back in the machines. It's tatty, it's cheesy but it's great
Had an exclusive party here for my two boys yesterday, and I can't praise it enough! It's so relaxing to have it all to ourselves - and for 17 children it only cost about £30 more than it would have for a non-exclusive one! All the children seemed to enjoy playing, and there was loads of buffet food! So much choice for them. We were even given the leftovers to bring home! Highly recommended for parties :)
My two eldest absolutely love this place. Without hesitation this would be top of their list for any day out. The arcade machines have been recently upgraded so that many now generate winning tickets to enable kids to pick a prize at the end of play. Adventures do offers lots of fun too with bouncy castles, trampolines and slides. Picnic tables are available too inside. The funfair is a staple, ride tokens are used easily purchased on site. A fab day out!
Can get expensive if you are not careful but the rides are fun my fav is the waltzers ten pound for bag of tokens most rides couple of tokens per rider visit the rock shop some nice fudge especialy the baileys flav or next door nice ice cream or fresh donuts or fish and chip shop sit off by the fort or by the marine or visit the bowling alley
Dated Amusement arcade. A throwback to the old days. Nice for the kids and nostalgia.
This placed used to be amazing. Prizes in machines are not with having most machines are jammed. It's really dark in there too. Gone down hill alot.
Kids love it her you have the fair and arcades next to each other. 2pence machines great when you got few kids they love it and you get loads of tickets
We go to New Brighton on a regular basis. We have been going to the arcade and adventure land since my children were little, they are now teenagers. They used to love all the equipment in adventure land and the young staff were lovely and helpful. We still enjoy the arcades and I feel that with using only £1 on the 2p machines I have taught them to be responsible enough with money to avoid such dangers as gambling addiction. They have learnt that once that £1 has gone it's time to move on. It's a very good teaching tool from a young age. Plus it has lots of rides and other entertainment for little ones and the staff are very helpful and approachable.
