Sikhism at its finest, grandest - and humblest - all in one place. The diligence, humility, and kindness of the men and women who serve here makes the Gurudwara shine like a beacon of purpose and hope. All who work will be rewarded. All who have faith, or even interest in the strength of the Gurus and the wisdom of the Guru Granth Sahib need to spend time - if only an hour here.

Everyone visiting Delhi must visit this holy place, you'll love the positive vibes here. This Gurudwara is one of the most popular holy places in India. Outside the Gurudwara gate(better ask for that exit) there are bread-pakoda stalls and shops where you can enjoy some time with your loved ones.

This provided a breath taking experience. The architecture is beautiful and the people are friendly. There is an area where visitors can come and learn about Sikhism before entering the worship place and once you are inside, there is an opportunity to eat a free lunch with hundreds of other people.

Best place to get peace. People here are very helpful. Also the Langar (free community food) offers best quality food here. Most significant thing is that all the work from cooking, utensil wash, to shoe rack work is performed by common people like us, none is hired to perform tasks. Anyone can provide community service

Who doesn't know about this sacred place of Sikhism,in Delhi. One of the landmark icon of Delhi where people from all religious beliefs can enter.Such is the beauty of this place. As soon as you enter this place, a positive vibe or energy will surround you.Religious music(Gurubani) is so melodious to ears and it will give you moments of inner peace. Words can't describe those feelings of spirituality.There is a beautiful pond inside the premises, then there is one art gallery where Sikh culture, their bravery and sacrifices for the motherland is displayed through paintings and other art. Indeed they have a glorious history and we all are honored to be able to see all this stuff. Do visit this Gurudwara, once in your lifetime and feel the blessings of Babaji.

What a calmness and devotion in midst of busy Delhi... Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a place where I felt a energy which is calming and relaxing. Beautiful interior in Gurudwara. Continues chanting makes mind stable that I was not even aware of the rush over there.

The most serene place to go early in morning. The gurudwara premises is amazing. There is a story behind this that there was a king who during old time gifted his living premises called a Bangla . That's where the name Bangla Sahib. It has an amazing lake.Must visit in morning and you will feel the god ..

Very nice, religious, and peaceful place. Nearest metro station to reach here is Shivaji Stadium metro on the Airport Express line. Spend some time here for peace of mind.
Also do not forget to visit the museum as you will learn a lot about the Sikh religion.

It was my first ever visit to Bangla Sahib and it was amazing. It was very peaceful and I could actually connect to myself while sitting there. The environment is amazing and there is a beautiful lake over there, in that lake there are many big and colourful fishes. There is 24×7 langar (food) over there and the food is outstanding. There is usually rush on the weekend. There is free parking for two wheelers and four wheelers as well.

I have visited this place once back in 2017. It's beautiful, clean and very well maintained. If you want to experience peace, this is a great place. Sometimes, they serve free food too. The only problem is you are not allowed to visit it bare headed.

राष्ट्रीय राजधनी दिल्ली में सिखों का सबसे बड़ा धर्मिक स्थल गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटकों के लिए सबसे पसंदीदा स्थान बनकर उभर रहा है। वह इस गुरुद्वारे में आत्मिक शांति के भारत आते हैं। वर्ष 2017 में लगभग 12 लाख अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटक पवित्र गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब पहुंचे थे।
इन्होंने गुरु ग्रन्थ साहिब को माथा टेका तथा अरदास की साथ ही प्रसाद स्वरूप लंगर ग्रहण किया। इस साल पहले चार महीनों में 6 लाख विदेशी पर्यटक आ चुके हैं। दिल्ली के पर्यटक स्थलों पर किए गए सर्वे 2017 में गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब को राष्ट्रीय राजधनी में अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटकों का सर्वाधिक पंसदीदा स्थल माना गया है। जहां अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटक स्वच्छ वातावरण में आत्मिक शान्ति, आध्यात्मिक अनुभूति तथा धार्मिक तथा ऐतिहासिक ज्ञानसवंर्द्धन के लिए एकत्रित होते हैं।
सिखों के आठवें गुरू हरकिशन साहिब जी से जुड़े गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब में अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटकों की सुविध तथा सहायता के लिए दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी ने एक सूचना केंद्र स्थापित किया है। इसमें अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय भाषाओं के 7 माहिर पर्यटक गाइड तैनात किए हैं, जो कि विभिन्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय भाषाओं में विदेशी पर्यटकों को इस धर्मिक स्थल की सांस्कृतिक तथा ऐतिहासिक महत्व के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करते हैं।
ज्यादातर अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटक विभिन्न ट्रेवल एजेंसियों के माध्यम से 15 से 25 पर्यटकों के ग्रुप में धर्मिक स्थल का दौरा करते हैं। इनमें अनेक अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटक सिख धर्म के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर रिसर्च करने के लिए पावन स्थल का दौरा करते हैं।
दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के अध्यक्ष मंजीत सिंह ने बताया कि अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटकों को सिख धर्म के विभिन्न पहलुओं की विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान करने के लिए कमेटी ने 10 अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय भाषाओं में सिख साहित्य प्रकाशित किया है ताकि अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यटक अपनी मातृभाषा में सिख धर्म के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकें। उन्होंने बताया कि चालू वर्ष के दौरान अब तक लगभग एक लाख पुस्तकों का मुफ्त वितरण किया जा चुका है।

Walking distance from SHIVAJI METRO STATION. Students can opt to study here for hours because of the peace around the lake.Afternoon is little hot as marble gets hot, so always walk on open mat. Walk around bare feet. Keep in mind to cover your head with handkerchief available there but do prefer to use your own. Volunteer enthusiasm is highly appreciable. Potable water always available. Feeling of inner Peace listening to Guru bani.

Awesome & peaceful place. Everything was superbly amazing especially big and small colorful fishes in the lake over there. The whole environment was really nice and devotional, and get served with free meal (langar) there. Free parking facility for two and four wheelers. There was everything neat and clean. A technology based museum inside the Gurudwara better explain everything about Sikhism. I enjoyed going there and loved the place.

Highly peacefull and clean place.
You can sit here and enjoyed the singing. The small events give you feel of energy, happy and the peace. You can sit as many hours you want. Such a pleasant place to spend time either with family or friends.

This was a cool experience but we didn’t really know anything about what to do or where to go during our visit. We bought head coverings outside the gate, but I would recommend bringing your own scarf. You have to leave your shoes before you enter the temple and there is a place to check them for free. There is a free museum that we walked through after we saw the temple but it might make more sense to see the exhibit first so you have more understanding about what happens inside the temple. We were able to walk into the kitchen to see the volunteers making the free communal meal that is available to anyone who wants to eat. You can sit and relax inside temple and listen to the prayers for as long as you want - no photos allowed inside the temple

This great monument has truly stood the test of time. Even today when we are seated against the cool marble facing the temple we are liberated from all thoughts and captivated for what this place stands for.
Take a pause and feed yourself with this amazing abode of God. Salutation to this revered sacred place of Sikhs and its great nature.
I believe no other temple or people are so welcoming and open. You can partake in prayers or offer services in the Langar (community kitchen).
Respect the sanctity of this place when you visit. We are in awe of the great religion Sikhism for this opportunity to feel the true essence of brotherhood and humanity here.

Beautiful beautiful place.
Don't worry if you're not sure of dress code as they will provide suitable coverings for foreigners. The complex is lovely...we were literally dazzled by the sun on the white marble. Inside was gorgeous. We didn't have a guide but we're given a informstion booklet.
