Good place to visit for getting to know about Indian Railway History. It's well built and maintained. It is air-conditioned inside and has beautiful garden with old engines on display outside. Children will find few interesting games to play inside the museum too and can also enjoy sitting in toy train. Tickets are 100₹ per adult on weekends and 50₹ on weekdays.

A really nice and knowledgeable place to visit with family specially with children. You even got to the stream model of 1855, one first in India probably first in the world. I would say not to go there on holidays not because it's a bit more costly but due to rush and no parking space. Don't try buying anything from inside cause it would be only wastage of your bucks for things which are not worthy. Try all ride and visit it at least thrice.

It's a great place to take your kids through the journey of Indian Railways starting from the first steam engine till today. The Joy Ride is the best option carry a lot of water with you there was no water. The food in the cafeteria is wonderful. Not recommended on a sunny day since it becomes very hot and there is no water.

Its a good place if you Keen to know about the history of Indian railways. They've got the models of every equipment they used centuries ago. From enormous engines to the tiniest railway tracks. I was intrigued by all this. They have also got small quizzes which kids love to play with and a nice cafeteria where you can have lunch with your family. Along with this there is a also a concept of "Joy train" in which the provide a small ride within the area of museum itself.
