Fees are much higher for foreigners. U can deposit your baggage here in nicely managed clock room for just 1 rupee per bag. But the bag should be locked. Food articles are not allowed inside. So don't carry it. It's very huge landscape area. So better go for battery operated truck at just rs 67 for each passanger. It will help you visiting full zoo without much walking. Rest all depend upon your luck and atmosphere. As most of the animals like to sleep.

Get a break from the pollution and noise of the city. Big green area. Though they can improve the variety of the animals a bit. Too many species of Deer. Good that they have stopped people bringing food and bags inside. There's a big impact on the cleanliness because of it. Water, ice cream, flavored milk & soft drinks are available inside. There's an electric car facility available for traveling inside. Overall a nice place for weekends. Remains closed on Friday.

A must visit place for animal lovers. Entry price is Rs 20 for adults. As soon as you enter you will be greeted by birds, swans. It is divided into sections. There is map provided at regular intervals. Follow the map to reach to a specific animal. You will have a wonderful time here. And obviously see the pics that I attached.

A good zoo to go with family or friends. It's big enough to accommodate large crowds during weekends and has battery operated bus which can get you around this large park or major attractions fast, albeit with a small fee. The entrance fee is very cheap (just Rs. 40). However, there were some animals which we never got to see despite there being boards that they were there like the Giraffe or the snakes in Reptile House. Overall a nice place to visit once in a while.

Great place to spend your leisure time with friends and family. Fresh air, beautiful scenery. It presents you with a wide variety of flora and fauna. Plenty of creatures to see blended with a lot of greenery. Perfect place for walking or regular exercise. Electric car is also there if you don't want to walk much. Even though it requires a proper maintenance but still a wonderful place to hang out. Just keep your phone away and enjoy the chirping of the birds. Parking space is also available, but might be crowded during weekends or holidays.

They don't allow to take any eatables inside which is irritating as there are no eatables available inside as well to purchase. There are only juices which can be purchased inside. Anything edible you take with you will need to be deposited. They don't even allow baby food which has been prepared. Only in dry format and then you need to purchase water from inside the zoo to prepare the baby food. This makes it difficult to spend long hours inside the zoo. Although I believe that these precautions are necessary to protect the habitat of animals inside the zoo. Reptiles area was under renovation when we went. Collection of birds was good. Good for one time visit.

Just like the other Indian zoo's this zoo is also spread in a very wide range.. Zoo is cleared and maintained enough by the authorities but just like the others one thing I completely disliked is the visibility of the animals is not good enough... You can't see most of them because the grasses are quite high.. Although you must visit the place if you are planning to spend the weekend or holiday.. All I can say is Please borrow twice the time you have thought of for the place 😁 Thanks for reading

Neat and Clean Zoo. Paid entry for kids and adults. Paid Parking is also available. An ideal place for kids and families to enjoy and watch and observe animals closely. You have option to walk or take a battery car, which is a paid service. Keep the zoo clean, do not throw water bottles or plastic bags, use dust bins and eat at the designated areas only.

The place was nice and spread over acres of land... Though there were not many animals in it as a zoological park should have, but u will get glimpse of many animals either its white tiger, leopard, alligator, flamingos and much more... Nice place to have fun with friends... 👌 Public facilities were also there... And they don't allow to bring in any eatable item there so avoid it... U can carry your water bottle.

A very good place to bring young child. The area is large enough too around on foot but still one can manage to see most of the part by foot if planned well. There are marks on the road and it can be followed to check all the animals. There are also battery operated vehicle for one who want a ride. There are lots of animals including deer, monkeys, tiger, panther, lion, bear, crocodile and many more.

Nice place. You can see more animals and birds here. Reaching here is quite easy. Easy transportation. Entry fee required to entry on zoo. *Food and bags are not allowed within the zoo area. You need to summit those in locker at the place. Or better that u keep food and bags at car. Camera is prohibited. But people can do photography with phone. Which is maybe allowed. Best time to visit- Early morning or evening. Weather- if rainy so best. Better to carry a high zoom camera with photographer frd😋 he will make u hero/ heroine by his photography😋 Overall nice place to visit with family and kids.

The best place to take kids for a day out... Take a van... You can take them in a group... And these vans are electronic... They will leave you near the enclosures and then you can hop on any van coming along the way... Make sure to keep your wrist tags safe till then.. Also keep around 4 hrs so that you don't have to be in a rush... As you will still have to walk... From the van stop to the enclosure... Don't miss the bird section... You will see plenty of rare and beautiful birds out there... And you can visit here as many times as you want as small kids simply enjoy it....

Visited this place in December. It is very well maintained with good variety of species.  We spotted white tiger, bengal tiger, interesting birds, hippopotamus, lions Best time to visit:  Winter days are ideal. Try to be there in morning because as the day progresses.... visitors will increase P.S: Food is not allowed inside. There is a cafeteria type of place outside the park. We tried the food and it was not that great. You can take token for battery car which allows to board battery cars at designated pick up points.  Wash rooms are neatly maintained.

I've always loved this place! Though typically it is best to visit the zoo in winter months but if you happen to visit Delhi in summer only, do pay a visit to this place. They also have battery operated open vehicles to take you round the place . You can get off the vehicle when you want a closer look. All sorts of animals are found in Delhi zoo. It is an extensive place covering it on foot can be difficult for senior citizens and small children especially in summer months. Definitely an enjoyable place for all age groups. Do not carry any food as they are not allowed inside.

It was a very nice place and very hygienic with a lot of animal and all the animals there were looking very nice and healthy. The production was very nice both for animals and people who are visiting there do I don't understand why it is charged so much for the foreigners and two less from us indians. the place has very nice and beautiful garden write when you enter the zoo it was so fresh and beautiful there. the fountain in the middle was also very nice. Really enjoy their and it's a very nice place to bring young kids and to spend quality time with your family and friends the only thing which was not good is that there is no proper indication and guidelines there like you can easily lost your way in the zoo and you can't easily map where are the animals the sign boards are also not very effective when it comes to give a proper direction rest everything was very nice and fine there.

Nice compact fun place for kids. Cost is very less and you can easily see lion, tiger, leopard, hippo, elephant and other wonderful animals. Two hours is more than enough to enjoy. Ample parking, hop on hop off battery operated vehicles. Lots of good facilities inside and outside. Not for the luxury addicts, but good for a basic family outing.

Well maintained place. Nice Number of animals kept in it. Animal's are taken care by all means. The places where animals are kept is well maintained and clean. Great greenery maintained. Public toilets were well maintained. Benches, sheds are placed at every interval fir people to sit. Major attraction is the bird 🏠. Reptiles are less in Number.

The zoological park is big and good to go in the nice weather when you can walk. Its not advisable to go in summer because its too hot. We visited this place in winter and we enjoyed the sun that time. There are species which children will enjoy. It's a nice place to visit with friends and family and especially children. Not allowed to take any eating materials as well as plastic. You can many types of animals and birds. Animals like white tiger , snakes ,crocodiles, African and Indian elephants, deers, and many mores. It's full of fun and filled with fresh air. There are many sittings arrangements as it's too large. There is also vehicles available inside to make tour of park inside. You can take pics and feel that many such animals are sharing our earth with us

It's one of the largest zoo in India, it is also famous for the significant no. Of white tigers. Indian rhinoceros is one of the animal which is in large number. It has a beautiful collection of birds from different part of the world. You can enjoy the ride of battery operated car inside the zoo.its located near Humayun tomb and just behind to old fort. Really worth spending time here,but cleaning and animals visibility is a issue
