Мемориал Махатмы Ганди (Радж-Гхат, хинди राज घाट) — мемориал в Дели, установленный на месте кремации лидера национально-освободительного движения Индии Махатмы Ганди, павшего от рук убийцы в 1948 году.
Excellent place to hangout. No entry ticket and you are free to bring your own snacks. This place has Mahatma Gandhi and few more great leader's samadhi with a lot of Green space around. This pace is the best if you go in pair(s) with your loved one and friends.
It is a beautiful place. Early morning is the best time to visit this place. footwear is not allowed inside. You have to keep it in the counter in the front and give any amount you would like. There is a possibility to see that from top and it will be a beautiful view as well. If you go in the mornings then you can leisurely see the place. Otherwise there will be too many people clicking pictures and you won't have your time to see the beauty.
Raj Ghat is a great stop in the heart of New Delhi. It is the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Lining the entrance is beautiful quotes from Gandhi. You can view the memorial from the elevated grounds that surround the memorial or take off your shoes and give a donation (any amount) to hold your shoes while you walk up to the memorial. Photos and video can be taken. There is no charge to enter the park.
This place is again remind you of Gandhi ji. I was like blank face there. It was unbelievable to see the grave of Mahatma Gandhi written *Hey Ram* ! Praying there was so pleasant. There Mahatma's saying were written on the side of the path. It was my good luck that I had an opportunity to see it.
Regardless of the culture to which you are born, once hearing the life story of 'The father of India', Mahatma Gandhi, you know he was a man of greatness. Not only did he change the history of India forever, but left his mark on the whole world. That he was assassinated, makes this memorial even more poignant. Many of the principles by which he lived can be found at the site. A place where everyone should make a pilgrimage to pay homage.

A very peaceful place to visit. Neat and clean. Full of greenery. You can visit with your family members or friends and just sit on the grass and enjoy the serenity of the place. But before visiting remember one thing you can't carry any eatables with you.
Full of enjoy. Park feels like fresh. Cool air around. But it's better If you visit in morning till 12, or after 4 to 6. Because in after noon between 1 to 4 it feels very hot ,in that case shadow of trees are best.
Awesome place for spending some time with your friends and family in November to March. A lot of flowers and greenry give you an amazing relax. But remember no eatables are permitted inside the promises. Drinking water and public toilet are available at no cost but service is not too good. And also best place for #photography.
Good place to visit with anyone say it to be parents, friends, girlfriend etc, the greenery here is at it's epitome. This place is maintained well. You'll like it if you want some peaceful place but sometimes it's crowded. Parking is available and is really good. You have the canteen besides and the food there is hygienic and tasty. Also you can't take the food inside Raj Ghat and you should be in a position to understand this situation if you're literate, keep the place clean. It's also good for people who are in the lieu of good place for jogging, exercise or yoga in the morning.
Such a lovely place to visit in Delhi. Historical place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. The place is very quiet. Before entering you have to put your bags inside baggage scanner. It's better not to carry any metal item in your bag because I was carrying 2 metal god idols. They stopped me and searched the bag thoroughly. A must visit place :)
The eternal flame that burns 24 hours makes you think of the respect the humble man and the father of the nation commands in the hearts of people in India and around the world. The place is peaceful, well maintained and the gardens surrounding it are beautiful. There are quotes by Mahatma Gandhi in the corridors that extend around the memorial. You have to remove all footwear before you enter but there is a facility available so there's no worry there. The place is worth a visit to remember a great man.
This is place where Mahatma Gandhi and other major contributors to India are given homage. Big area with nice monument and various exhibitions... with knowledge about Mahatma Gandhiji. Overall must visit place at Delhi. Having parking area and other facilities managed by government. A simple memorial to a highly respected man. Quotes are inscribed on plinths as you approach and it is possible to view the memorial from a platform above as well as at the memorial itself. Be aware that if you go to the memorial you must remove your shoes and the ground was red hot when we were there! Also be aware that if you leave your shoes at the attended rack you will need to pay. Incredibly detailed statue of Gandhi is also a must see
A nice peaceful, reflective area away from the chaos of Old Delhi just outside. Only takes 20 minutes to walk round everything but it is worth seeing. You can keep shoes on in the outer grounds but if you into the square with the tomb you must leave shoes outside for free unattended or for 6 Rupees for a ticketed shelf.
Raj Ghat set in lovely gardens. Very small charge for leaving shoes. It is a peaceful place, well tended. Be aware, the stone path leading to the eternal flame is covered with artificial grass which is very hot to walk on, in fact the stone path was cooler. Go early for a less crowded visit
This was a very serene place, away from the noise and bustle of the big city. We enjoyed our visit here, part of our city tour. The grounds are kept beautifully, the greenery and flowers are lovely. It was very hot in April, so be sure to have water with you. There are 2 ways to view the memorial platform where Ghandi was cremated, either walk up one of the side ramps and view from above, or from the inside; you walk down the center ramp and take off your shoes to reach the interior. We chose to view from above.
Raj Ghat is maintained very well and the ambiance is very good. I have been to this place several times and every time I visit I find peace and the essence of Gandhi Ji. It is advised to visit this place early in the morning for a best experience. There is also a service to keep footwear of the visitors. Drinking water is also available. This is an awesome place.
