I go there from time to time with friends and we always have a good time. From the name of the place you already know that there is a good selection of bottle, tap or can beers. We usually go there when we are a big group since there are many seatings on the outside. I would suggest this place on warm days. There is this big outside seating area with a stage where sometime there are performances and also TVs on the side walls. They have a small selection of fast food that I'm not a fan of, but it's fine when you don't want to leave the party or your friends.

Nice place to have a silent party in the summer. However the out door bar needed help. They had one bar with three bartenders. Luckily people ordered pitchers of beer and not drinks. It would help to add another bar area for drinks.

The Bohemian Garden is a decent spot. A great open space. Went there for the silent clubbing night and that was fun. They had an outside and inside bar and a lot of security so w the amount of ppl there you felt safe. The beer options were ok but if you aren't a beer drinker there was angry orchard rose. All in all, good times.

There are signs posted everywhere that they are “kid friendly” and all you have to do is obey their rules. Even if you “follow the rules” the general manager Patrick will come over and harass your group until you leave. It is a very sad thing because Astoria is FILLED with families who enjoy going to large outdoor spaces with their children. Though I have not personally experienced this treatment at the Beer garden, I have plenty of friends that have so I am compelled to warn patrons about their despicable practices. I chose to give my patronage to The Strand where they welcome families with open arms.

Its a hit or a miss but most of the time i went there it was kind of an older crowd, middle aged like 45 plus.. great environment though and i like the silent parties with the headphones which is pretty cool.. but i think this place is more catered toward Europeans or something but they deff have great beer and bar food..

Great outdoor party place. It takes up a half a block, has high walls and great garden set up. Feels like European beer garden. Feels like you are not in the city. Gets crazy at football games. More relax off peak hours. Good for friends, families with kids. Special events like wine tasting days, folklore, hunter's ball...

One of favorite places in the neighborhood and in NYC. Big and tree shaded outdoor space. A smoking section. Good selection of beer on tap. Decent bar food. And very chill vibe... chill enough to bring our toddler with us. Watched the Croatia v. England game here, the atmosphere was electric.

Great beer garden! Good happy hour, good food. Chill setting with long tables. Much more quaint than nearby Studio Square. And it does have TVs showing sports (smaller TVs than those at SS).

HOLY MOTHER OF FUN! This is the place to be my friends! Food is meh. But everything else is spot on. The feeling of being this open anywhere in New York is wonderful. Its like mid western feel to the fast paced life of east.

This is a cool spot to hang out, especially in the outdoor beer garden. There is plenty of picnic table seating available. Apparently you have to have a tab open and order food from a server if you are sitting at a table though? We went for happy hour after work, so we were a somewhat large group of people coming and going, and needed separate checks so we wanted to just order at the bar and all sit together. The server made us order from him though and was somewhat rude about it. The experience threw me off, but I'd probably be willing to give the place another try. It wasn't too crowded on a weekday evening and would recommend going there for dinner and drinks if you don't mind ordering everything all together from your server and don't mind waiting for the kind of slow service.
