This is a great little cruise 1) relaxing 2) beautiful little boat and excellent staff 3) great deal.. highly recommended... the only thing I can say it would be helpful to make it little easier to find the exact location..we knew we in the right area but with out the ticket girl being there you don’t see it... thank you
Great company! We were all set to go out on the America 2.0 for a sunset sail. But Mother Nature sprung a surprise, lots of lightning. The crew decided this just wasn't a good situation to set sail, so our trip was canceled. I was concerned that there would be a lot of grief, but instead, they not only refunded our trip, they provided us with a round of drinks and snacks as we waited for the refunds to be processed. As this was our last night in the city, the refund was our only option. Very glad how they put safety over profit and they handled this difficult situation with professionalism and great service! Definitely will return to this place.
Great way to see NYC. 1.5 hours is just enough time to enjoy the views, but not so long kids get bored. Highly recommend the Manhattan, very pretty and comfortable boat that allows you to move from indoor to out. Just the right size to feel intimate without feeling on top of one another. Overall very relaxing and I enjoyed the route that allows you good viewed along East river and Hudson, along with close ups of SoL, Ellis, Governors Island, and Brooklyn Bridge, and of course One World Trade. I’d definitely recommend and do again when people come to visit.
We took the sunset sail on Adriondack which was a great way to spend a couple of hours on the water. Despite sitting out side on a sailing boat it’s a comfortable ride and not at all crowded even though it was fully booked. There’s no commentary on this particular cruise you just relax and enjoy the view while the friendly and helpful crew serve the complimentary drinks. The course takes you along Manhattan providing a great view of the city and then in for a close circumnavigation of the Statue of Liberty. As it’s a round trip you won’t miss anything from either side of the boat. In all a memorable and sophisticated way to see NYC from the water and a great alternative to the crowded industrial ferry cruises you’ll see along the way.
We recently took our two teenage nieces on this tour, and all four had a lovely time. You are guaranteed a seat, which is great in my view. We were given the high points of information, but were not "talked at" the entire time, unlike officially narrated tours. When the sun got unbearable at a point, we were able to move into comfortable shelter. Otherwise, there was enough room outside for all. They provide you with a sode or beer/wine as part of the ticket price, and you can also order food. The girls ordered something, and thought it was great. Reasonably priced for this type of thing. ONLY ONE PROBLEM - if you buy your tickets in advance, you have to go to the on-site ticket booth and exchange them. Nobody tells you that, so we waited for 15 minutes, and then had to wait 10 more to "exchange" them. Now that you know you have to do this, you should be set to go. A lovely alternative to some of the competition, which I've also taken.
Great experience from the start. The captain explain what we were going to do. The crew was nice, entertaining while ww dine and purchased drinks on board. The cruise was truly amazing, seeing the Statue of Liberty and all the other burrows of Manhattan. The captain told us what we were seeing and explain a couple fun facts. I am looking forward to this cruise next time.
An amazing way to see NYC! The weather wasn’t great but even with mist hiding most of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty we had the most incredible night on the boat. Would highly recommend. I just wish I’d done it three years ago when I first moved here as I would have brought every visitor on a trip. Oh and don’t forget to bring a picnic!!
A fabulous tour...in an incredibly comfortable, clean, and bright environment. I was so impressed by the number of landmarks and architecturally significant sites we were shown. The narrative was not only spot-on but was complimented with a nice historical backdrop to put our tour sites in perspective. The food was good ... the hostesses were impeccable and so accommodating. Many thanks Classic Harbor!!! Nancy Smith, Maysville, KY
Took the hour-long cruise to the Statue of Liberty and loved it. The crew were friendly and professional - even offered to take pix of us. We sat outside and had gorgeous views. There are really no "bad" seats on the whole boat. Everything was perfect. The Beast (another boat that we almost booked before finding Classic) blazed past us at one point, while we enjoyed a peaceful ride and a glass of champagne. So glad we found Classic!
Wanted to write a review because we had such a lovely experience. Food was good, the boat beautiful and the staff excellent. The river journey was just the right amount scenic and educational. Our only two critiques were the up tempo music on deck... it was a brunch, not a dance cruise (didn’t really need music at all). And the assortment of tea could have been better. All in all we had a perfect day with our visiting family. Thank you Classic Harbor Line!
Top notch! The boat is spacious, clean, great seating. The staff are totally invested in your experience. Our trip could not have been better. I cannot recommend this trip more highly.
This was an incredible tour! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and the smaller, personalized setting was really terrific. I have taken many other boat tours around Manhattan and this one was, by far, the best I have ever had. Thank you to Joseph for an informative and interesting tour!
We had the best time on the Classic Harbor Line! The boat was very clean, crew super friendly and the sights were fantastic! We pulled up close to the Statue of Liberty for great pictures and the tour guide told us very informative facts along the way! The boat is super kid friendly and the kids loved it! Will absolutely recommend!
Everyone at Classic Harbor Line, was great! From Emily who helped me reschedule because I was stuck in the subway system. To the young men in the booth, to the members on the crew of the Manhattan! Everyone was helpful and pleasant! It was the perfect day to be on the water, the breeze was refreshing. The crew came around and offered to take photos of the guests with the Statue of Liberty. The free beverage was welcomed and enjoyed! Since it was a weekday the boat was not over crowded, which was a plus! Thank you all for making my cruise something to remember! MLC
Best harbor tour in NYC. The boat was awesome. They don't pack you in like the other tour companies. Nice, small crowd on the boat with ample seating. It was cold and windy outside, but you would never know it on the inside. Boat was comfortable and warm. Operators were friendly and welcomed us like honored guests. Great job, Classic Harbor Line.
