What a great spot for some skyline photos! I love this park. It was so cold today and the water makes it windy so it's probably better to go in warm weather. It's about a ten minute walk from the subway. Lots of space for bikes and running. The sun rises hitting the buildings.

The view is amazing and the kids can have many activities in the same place, play ground, soccer, play with the bike, play in the sand corner, and there is a luck area with benches

Great park for a stroll, amazin amazing views of the entire city. Parking it's difficult on the street. The buildings around have paid parking but it's a bit pricey. The playground it's great for the kids. There's a basketball court, a shop to buy finger foods and a ferry terminal. Steven holl designed library is almost completed that will be a great addition.

One of the best places to get a good view of Manhattan! Ideal place for jogging, bicycling or just to take your dog for a walk. Evening is the best time to visit especially if you are a photographer; remember to take your tripod to get some exciting long exposure shots. Finding a street side parking is a bit challenging in this area. Would be ideal if you can take public transportation. Streets are very nice and pretty clean if you were wondering. Its is an upscale area, so you may expect good restaurants nearby. Here is a picture taken from the park. It was taken by a friend of mine and color graded by me.

Enjoy all my time. Nice view to the city, nice to relax and nice to feel the air. Also there is a different and separate area for the dogs. Love this park

Accessible by car or NYC ferries ($2.75 per ride,) from Downtown Wall Street and many other locations dotted on both sides of the East River, it's a great place to take in the beautiful sky light of East side Manhattan whole enjoying a leisurely stroll along the scenic Riverside area with playgrounds and plentiful of various comfy benches.

On a beautiful day (sun shining, little breeze, a blanket, a snack), or when the sun is setting, or when it's night out, the view of the city is amazing, you just can't beat it... But it does get crowded when it's warm out

Good view of Manhattan shore line. Easy to get to from public transportation. It is a very open, spacious park but unfortunately there isn't enough shady areas. Bathrooms need to acquire more attention. The employees are extremely bitchy and way to "friendly" with one another, they don't abide by the rules that they are supposed to enforce upon others. Extra crews should definitely be added for maintenance of the park.

Calm, green, beautiful. The view to the Manhattan skyline is perfect. The varieties of activities for children, sports and dogs are great. You can choose among benches and chairs og many kinds, in addition to the grass. You also get good food and beverages there. And the toilet is nice AND free! Only one stop away from Grand Central.

Beautiful waterfront park with lots of open space for outdoor activities. At the southern end there is a triangular area with beach sand where you can setup a volleyball net and play some beach volleyball. This is also where the NYC ferry station is located. Would be nicer if there were trees, but a joy nonethess.

Went here to check out all the green infrastructure design that was incorporated. Really well thought out park with nice materials used and good sight lines. The views of the city are of course great as well. Nice stand in the middle with lots of shaded seating but pricey food and drinks. Not the closest to subway, but if I was a resident in this neighborhood I'd be very happy.

Waterfront oasis with soaring skyline views, a bustling hive of activity and yet peaceful, tranquil and in some places remote. With the second phase newly finished in late June 2018, this former barren industrial area is now a magnificent destination for visitors in neighborhoods near and far and a crown jewel of Long Island Cityโs Hunters Point South mega development. Spacious playground with rope climbs, climbing walls, and interesting twists on jungle gym standards. Fitness equipment in two locations, one adjoining the playground and another in the newly completed area at the southern end. LIC Landing offers up sandwiches and an extensive array of beers on tap with a covered pavilion of communal tables. Cantilevered platform rising 30 feet just out offering spectacular views of Manhattan. There is even a canoe launch. The park is directly served by the NYC Ferry with a dedicated stop. Events include movies, yoga, and free kidsโ activities and programs. Connects with the Gantry Plaza State Park bisected by the futuristic looking Hunters Point Library under construction.

This is an amazing area, historic as well. It has changed a lot from the last time i had went which about 4 years. If walk all that strip you would end up seeing the pepsi cola sign. There is a food truck parked. Perfect time to go is at night because you get to see the city and its really beautiful to see it lit, and its nice to have a picnic as well. they have parks for kids, i believe there is two. also, there's chairs for you to relax as if you were in the beach. 495 is close by as well.
