This is the site of the Colours wargaming show every year in September, and as a exhibition hall it's pretty good. It's split across three decent sized Hall's in one building, but can get a bit crowded. The food services are limited in scope, but if the weather is nice sitting outside in some fresh air overlooking the race course is a (often much needed) option. It's easy to get to by car, and the parking is good. Apparently they also do something with horses here as well, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

Non-raceday meeting held in one of the executive boxes. Great staff and welcome, nice place to hold a meeting. Big site so a fair walk to get the box if you are carrying stuff. Good value too.

Apart from the excitement of the racing days, the venue hosts major events and business seminars. The catering is very quick and the food has always been good. I have used this venue many times for large business events. It is something a little different from the usual Hotel venues and we’ve had many positive comments from delegates about being at the racecourse. Needs booking well in advance.

Attended an event here. The ladies toilets are diabolical and could only have been designed by a man! You have to negogiate the loo paper wall contraption to get inside an already cramped cubicle. When on the throne its like having a giant piece of plastic wall art almost on one's lap and almost in the face ! Not the design or standards one would expect at a "so called" reputable racecourse which lacks the ambience and panache of other race courses.

Attended Round Table Firework Display. Display itself was very good but start delayed to give late arrivers time to get in from the car park. A) they should have been on time and B) they could have seen the fireworks from there!

Excellent venue for company day out. Good transport links 20mins from Reading station.,Many food and drink outlets at reasonable prices, also excellent views of the horses coming to the finish line. All you need is a little bit of luck.

In my first room the water in the toilet was flowing, they chanced my room and the water from the shower was burning hot. Very bad Wi-Fi. You really can't connect. Food is not good. The good news is that the second drink is welcome drink.

Good racecourse. Well set up. Can get really busy on popular race days. Beer is over £5 a pint and food is a you would expect pretty pricey. Nice course and good staff.

Cutting down on my visits to this venue, it’s not about the price, it’s to do with value for money. The place looks great with all the new facilities but none of them really add to the experience of the standard race goer. You will still have to queue at the same bars and use the same facilities you did ten years ago, only now you'll be paying twice as much for the pleasure of walking through their gates, to gaze at the extensive balconies provided for the owners and trainers. The efforts that have been made to separate the commoner from the elite, whist ensuring the privileged are on full view, high behind glass walls and in separate exclusive areas is quite impressive. Ticket prices have crept up exponentially to fund this display of wealth, but your race day experience will be pretty much the same as it has always been (good or bad depending on winners).

Fab day here for the racing & Craig David, the restaurant staff were brilliant & Holly looked after us so well with my husbands dietary need so we didnt have to rush each course .... & the food was excellent 🙌 to the chefs that lamb melted in the mouth! Definitely coming back again x

Went for the day on 21st July 2018. Good racing and Craig David afterwards. The racecourse is lovely with lots of amenities but too many queues especially for the ladies toilets which is tricky if you have young kids with you. There needs to be more diligence shown with serving alcohol to those who have clearly had more than enough! Such a shame that people also just leave their rubbish absolutely everywhere and so many plastic cups ..... surely they can provide cups in return for a deposit and you get it refilled when you need another drink?!?!? The sound wasn't great in the grandstand area as it was bouncing back from the grandstand. Would love this to be better for the next party in the paddock. Otherwise we had fun and enjoyed the day. It was well organised

Ridiculously long bar queues. Bar staff in constant state of confusion and chaos. Had to queue for over an hour for a drink. Also massive queues for ATMs. Two things you want on a race day - a drink and cash, so you can bet. On both counts the venue massively fails to provide adequate facilities. Horse racing is always good, but go to another course. Avoid.
