Trethevy (Cornish: Tredhewi) is a hamlet in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
It is midway between the villages of Tintagel and Boscastle in the civil parish of Tintagel. Trethevy has a number of historic buildings and is an early Christian site. The hamlet is divided by the B3263 road which continues through Trevalga to Boscastle: the main settlement is south-east of the road and to the north-west is the Rocky Valley.
Well worth a visit in if in the area. The waterfall is very picturesque and the surrounding woods, streams and walks are equally scenic. The owners have made pathways and walks without disturbing the natural area too much. Definitely take up the offer of borrowing wellies at the shop as you will want to explore in the water at the waterfall to get the best views. The cafe is big and airy and serves a good selection of snacks, food and drinks. It is quite a walk from the car park but through scenic and pleasant areas. Wear walking boots and suitable clothing.

Lovely little natural attraction close to Tintagel. A short 1 mile walk and you're transported to what feels like you're abroad. The waterfall is a definite must if you're in the area. We went during the winter so we had the place to ourselves; it was perfect. I would recommend doing the woodland walk too as you get to see the waterfall from a different angle. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. I'm pretty sure you can take dogs too. I felt the price was a little too much but still worth a look!

Beautiful water fall, lovely place to visit. Nice cafe, quite a long walk, and steep in places, but well worth it. They even give you wellies to go to the waterfall, as you will get your feet wet. Great for photos.

Lovely place, not for little legs due to the climbing and wobberly steps. Dogs are welcome if you clean up behind them. Nice rest area up top. A lovely mystical place.

An absolute amazing place accompanied by an absolute amazing lady called Sarah. She made us feel very welcome and showed us the waterfall. Lovely experience and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Big ups Sarah.

Wow, what a hidden gem. Blink and you'll miss the sign for this place. You walk across the rd from the car park and follow the signs 'waterfalls'. After a walk along a lane with beautiful views you come to walk along a riverside path (wellies needed in certain months). It truly is a magical walk, dogs and children can play in the river, make or see fairy stacks etc. You eventually get to some very steep, uneven steps (pushchairs, elderly and disabled beware). After climbing to the top and catching your breath, you can either turn right and pay roughly £15 for a family walk around the waterfalls or left which takes you up to the cafe and toilets. TURN right. This will be the trip you remember when your traveling home. Stunning waterfalls. The last waterfall you walk through the river to see and it is magnificent. If you haven't brought wellies with you, they will lend you some from their shed (free of charge). Take pictures, plenty. You can also leave a stone in the river or tie a ribbon to the tree in remembrance of a loved one. After definitely head to the cafe. Lovely to sit in or outside if you have your dog. Food was decently priced and tasted yummy although the waiting time was a little too long.

This place was extremely beautiful! I've seen photos, which is how I learned about it. Seeing it in person was great. Now that I've said that, let's be real. I lived in Hawaii for 3 years with HUNDREDS of beautiful hikes, and I never had to pay for any of them. This is true for several other places in the states. I realize this is a different country, but it still feels a little bit cruddy. It was quite a walk to get to the Glen, and if you didn't realize you had to pay it coitus have been frustrating to get to the end of the half mile and find out. But it was a walk to the site not really a hike. They did have free waders for you to borrow so that your shoes wouldn't get wet, which was nice. All in all, I'm glad I saw it, but I wouldn't suggest it to my friends, purely because the end you lady for is super small and it really is just for the pictures.

Brilliantly ancient place with an amazing walk through time before coming to the spiritual place of the waterfall. Once there, there is an amazing cafe and lovely staff to help feed you. Great place, can't recommend it enough!

Absolutely stunning place. Took the new path with my friend and it was simply beautiful. The scenery and tranquility really gets to you and once you get to the bottom and see the tail end of the waterfall it just took my breath away. We were fine walking through the water at the end in just in socks and barefoot but I would recommend wearing the wellies they provide free of charge. The only downside is actually getting there. It's not immediately clear that you've come to the right place as the direction we took takes you through a secluded area of private property that makes you wonder if you're in the right place. However if you continue down to the end and take the curve to the right and keep going you'll eventually come across the car parks.

A MUST VISIT, An amazing walk. Car park is located on the main road and you have to walk down a small narrow road before you enter the woodland. You then need to follow the stream to the top. The walk starts off easy before climbing steps before the entrance. The waterfall is spectacular and you are even offered welly boots for paddling at the bottom of the waterfall.

Amazing place to go. A must if you are able to walk the 1.9 miles. You will encounter some hills. Big steps uneven narrow paths. Well worth the visit

Massively over priced. I would not recommend paying for this place. The water falls are nice but they don't warrant a nearly 6 quid charge. Seemed like the face was understaffed which resulted in rude staff not wanting to serve us. There's beautiful nature all around so I doubt I'd bother with this place again and would struggle to ever recommend it.

A gorgeous walk. Beautiful place. Highly recommend a visit. We had an 8yr old and a 1yr old (in a carrier) with us. No problems with the walk to and from it in flip flops. I can see why they would suggest good footwear for those not too steady on their feet, or for when the weather has not been as dry as it has been. Just gorgeous though

This is just such an oasis of natural beauty and loveliness. I love visiting here. It's always refreshing and renewing. The waterfalls and the wall through Rocky Valley (which only takes 30 minutes if you're walking slowly) are full of Dragon flies, birds, fish in the river and beautiful trees and flower. Oh and there are the Fairies too! Come and visit. You'll be so glad you did ❤

The waterfall is well worth visiting. There's a small charge for the actual water fall, but the Glen is free to access . There's a cafe next to the fall entrance. The cafe shuts earlier than I might have expected. It's a bit of a walk through the pretty woodland glen to the fall . You should allow about half an hour and there are a few quite steep bits near the end. The cafe staff told us about an alternative route which we took back to the car park. This route was about the same distance but avoided the steep bits and seemed a bit quicker. Definitely not as scenic a route though.
