Felbrigg Hall is a 17th-century English country house near the village of that name in Norfolk. Part of a National Trust property, the unaltered 17th-century house is noted for its Jacobean architecture and fine Georgian interior. Outside is a walled garden, an orangery and orchards. The house and grounds were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Ketton-Cremer. The hall is Grade I on the National Heritage List for England. Most of the grounds are part of Felbrigg Woods, a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The estate originated with the Felbrigg family. It passed to John Wyndham (died 1475) and remained in that family for centuries.
Visited Enchanted Felbrigg with the children and it was absolutely lovely. Really great activities but enough wilderness for them to explore and discover. Good mulled wine, clean toilet facilities and the fire pits were an inspired idea! It was £18 for two adults and two children which wasn't bad for the three hours that we spent there. The grounds had been decorated beautifully and we loved the uniqueness of the displays and story. We'll definitely be coming back if it runs again next year!

Visited Felbrigg with the children and it was great! The kids absolutely loved it. Plenty of woodland for them to explore and discover. Good cafe and clean toilet facilities. Well worth a visit.

Enchanted Felbrigg - what a great way to be festive! My son who's two LOVED it - little trail - finding the bells, the snow balls, the big sleeping giant, the drums...a lovely location for a walk. Coffee shop is simple but warm and pleasant NT selection of foods. Did like the wooden children's horses in the stables...nice touch! We are NT members so it's worth visiting at events like that as it's free. All in all will be going back to visit the hall.

A very nice and typical NT property. Worth visiting if in the area. Easy to get lost in the different gardens.

Outstanding place tonight. Needed more than one day. Couldn't do all of the park walks due to ground conditions but will go back to do them. Walled gardens are lovely and the house is great. Best part? If it's on, go on the attics and cellars tour. It made the history of the place even more fascinating

Had a short walk around here however didn't have time for the house this time. Saw lots of lambs and cows which the kids loved. Some really nice walks. Car park is free for national trust members. Will be back again.

All fabulous... Walled garden a favourite during summer months... Same tip as all NT sites for peaceful visit go during school term time..

Can't comment on the inside of the hall, we only did the grounds. Grounds and ground staff all good and I can recommend the big hunting packs, spent a good time looking for bugs and trying to identify them. As with all NT properties food and drink is a bit pricey. It does have a lovely second hand bookshop.

Plenty to see and do here. If you like walks there are a selection in a booklet given to you upon admission ranging from 1 to 4 and a half miles, and dogs are welcome (although not in the house). The walled gardens contain an orchard, vegetable and herb gardens as well as a large variety of flowers and plants. The house is manned by knowledgeable staff who have a passion about the history of the house. On site there is also a gift shop and a cafe.

The hall and grounds are very well kept and the staff seem to really enjoy their work. The lady working on the desk recommended another local attraction to us, we visited that as well and had a fantastic day out. Felbrigg is not a full day out unless you enjoy the many long walks. Highly recommended.

Felbrigg is a wonderful calming destination that exists in a time warp divorced from the 21st century. Nestled in the North Norfolk countryside 3 miles from Cromer it offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy long walks, or a look around the house and gardens. Or you can just have a coffee and snack in the courtyard. Any of which is worthwhile.

I like this place... lots of car parking great walks in and around the grounds.... near the coast and close to the highest point in Norfolk... cycling is good too..if you keep off main roads. Oh and the Hall is old and interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Hall and gardens are beautiful and the courtyard cafe is really lovely, serving sandwiches, cakes, scones, soup etc. Rather expensive though, as is the ticket price. Staff are lovely and very welcoming, tour guides in each room explain in detail if you want to chat to them. Only criticism is it could be a bit more lively, all very hushed would be good to have had more interaction. Parking is paid for by machine, think it was £3 so take change.

We really enjoyed the house and walled gardens. Even if you are not a national trust member the entry price is very reasonable and great value. Volunteer staff very helpful and informative.

Pleasant place to visit. Parking near house and gardens. Great place to walk your pooch. Beautiful walled garden with free roaming chickens. House is furnished as was and well maintained. Courtyard coffee bar and cafe.
