Sheringham Park is a landscape park and gardens near the town of Sheringham, Norfolk, England. The park surrounds Sheringham Hall, lying mostly to its south. The hall is privately occupied, but Sheringham Park is in the care of the National Trust and open to visitors.
The park was designed by Humphry Repton (1752-1818) who presented his proposals in July 1812 in the form of one of his Red Books. He described Sheringham as his "favourite and darling child in Norfolk". Abbot and Charlotte Upcher bought the estate in 1811, and successive generations of the Upcher family did much to develop the estate, the hall and the park, as well as building a school.
Really nice place. Full of great walks amoung the trees. I'd recommend getting a guidebook 📚about the trees (it details all about the different types of tree they have there)🌲🌳🌴 My children loved to see the steam train from the viewing platform 🚂 I liked the folly. The cafe ☕was nice and good with plenty of outdoor seating so great for our dog 🐶 the shop staff were so friendly and helpful. Parking🚘 was very easy, plenty of spaces. Toilets 🚽 were clean and stocked. Would recommend a visit.

Great place for easily accessible walks through attractive woodland surroundings and out onto open farmland. For those with mobility issues manual wheelchairs and electric buggies are provided free of charge on a first come first served basis, allowing access to much of the park via good paths. Have found these really useful when taking disabled relatives out

Gorgeous park. Absolutely massive. Could go there again and not see anything I saw before. Also there are plenty of areas dogs are allowed, a lovely cafe and museum.

Sheringham Park is a lovely place and always a favourite for a nice walk whatever the time of year. Parking is free for national trust members and there's plenty of spaces. The coffee shop is reasonably priced and offers a good variety with lots of covered space to sit down. Staff are always friendly and helpful :) Most of the trails are suitable for buggies/wheelchairs/scooters and the toilet facilities are clean and well maintained. Weybourne station and Sheringham Town centre are a short walk away too.

Never actually got to go around the park. Turned up initially, the car park doesn't take card... Fair enough. Went into Sheringham to get change from a £5 note. Waited in line for the only machine for about 10 mins whilst people worked out how to use it. When I finally got there. I was slowly putting the money in whilst looking around for how much it actually is. £5.50! If you seriously are charging that much to park. Then you really need to get into the 21st century and provide card payments, or over the phone payments (like some councils do) needless to say, I didn't have that spare 50p on me. Had a £10 note... But that was pretty useless!

As a National Trust member, parking is free but for non members parking charges apply. The park has good facilities such as toilets a cafe and refreshment van as well as a small display about Humphrey Repton, who designed the gardens. There is also a well stocked shop. Some of the paths around the park are accessible for the disabled and the day we visited, there were a lot of people on mobility scooters (my dad included) enjoying the rhododendrons that were coming into to flower. The gazebo down in the grounds of the house is well worth a visit as the views you get at treetop height are spectacular. There is a bit of a climb to get to it, but some strategically placed benches are a welcome sight (you can even buy a magnet from the shop saying you've climbed it!).

This is such a lovely place for a walk in the sunshine. The rhododendrons were gorgeous. And the blue bells stunning. But this is a nice place to visit any time of the year. Go for a walk in lovely scenery and forget your problems for a couple of hours. Toilets nice and clean too. Only issue - car park expensive - nearly £6 but free to actually get into park

A must see and visit place. Beautiful walks, small cafe, lots of great paths to explore. Dont tell the kids you are taking them to a park as there is no "park" as they would think. Parking 5.70 or free for national trust members. Though it sounds pricey we were here for a fair few hours. I think they did scooter hire but check. Bring a picnic or visit the shops. There is a gift shop also. A lovely charming place to visit

A very peaceful place to walk. Some lovely mature trees. Azaleas and rhodedens amongst the trees. Well made paths to walk and well signposted walks. Make sure you have plenty of cash for the car park or are a NT member.

Really like this place, it is huge with different walks to do for varying abilities. We will be coming back here as the walls are so different and to much for us to do in one day, the steam railway is close by and one of the walks takes you to one of the stations where you can pay to ride the line, there is so much open land to walk around we recommend it for anyone that likes a walk in the great outdoors.

The day was rather chilly and murky around the coast do we went to Sheringham Park, it was overcast there but just being that further away from the coast it was just nice for walking around with our dog, Beau. Some of the rhododendrons had past their best others were just coming out in bloom their scent and colour spectacular. I can certainly recommend going there for some peace and quiet also meeting others of a like mind. Parking is £5.00 for non NT members but there is plenty of things to see and do so not that expensive.

There's a few pleasant walks here. It's worth going to the wooden tower thing as you get lovely views over the trees and out to sea - quite a steep climb though but it's nice to get the heart pumping. A great setting for a pleasant couple of hours.

Lovely way to spend a few hours. The colours of the rhododendrons are amazing. You can walk for hours and not see it all. Dogs are allowed. It's a shame that a few dog owners can't be bothered to clean up after their dogs. There is a cafe where a range of refreshments are available. There is ample parking also. Being a National Trust site it is very well run and kept. It is always worth another visit
