Tried to visit tretyakov art gallery exposition. Paid the money but didn't see it. It was placed in a crampy stuffed place from the yard entrance. When I went upstairs I found a huge croud of people waiting for their turn to see it in small place filled with hot and stale air. The cashier refused to give me my money back. Of course there was a warning sign about a situation but it was what no one would notice. The staff is rude.

Nice collection. Has some English labels. Good and cheap souvenirs. Best postcards I could find in town

Museum with a good collection, ranging from the classic tsarist-era artists over the "Wanderers" from the 19th century depicting social problems, to Soviet art and modern art. Wardrobe and toilette are there. Expect to spend 2-3 hours if you want to see most of the museum.
