A very beautiful courtyard surrounded by quaint thatched cottages. The cafe served wholesome goodies, the staff were friendly and efficient.
Fantastic magical location, nicely off the beaten track, close by Loughcrew Cairns where we climbed up to see the sunset. Wonderful coffee shop and exhibition area, we stayed 3 nights 22-25th June and loved it, hope to return soon. Highly recommended.
I stayed here for two night with my children. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is amazing with so much cultural and historical aspects to explore. The owners are so welcoming and genuine. It's laid back yet it totally works. A pleasure and a surprise to find such a beautiful site. Will be back. A tonic for the soul as well as the children with every need catered for. Well done! Loved it.
What a beautiful spot! We had lovely sandwiches here and the staff were warm welcoming and friendly.
Great caravan and camping site. Very nice hosts that are always trying to help. Clean bathrooms, nice little Café with coffee, cake and sandwiches. A lot of ancient buildings are around that place.
Excellent attraction. Is not over run with tourists. Can be hard to find. But excellent attraction as it 1hr is enough to see it all and if you stay away from the shop it is all free. If you ask in the visitors centre they may give you the key, so you can get inside the tomb. I did. How cool is That!! Hike is 15mins up at a slow pace. Quicker down. So nice and quick with amazing views of the adjoining counties
Friendly staff. Nice hostel. Lots to do and see in the area.not far from a nice little town.
Great coffee shop and information point. Staff always friendly and helpful. Worth stopping by.
Excellent food and staff. Sarah, Niall, Catherine and the rest of the crew are top class! Brilliant service and very welcoming. Highly recommend it!
Can I have a go of your yurt? There is a great cafe & center just beside the car park for the loughcrew Cairns. A stone courtyard is set amongst one storey cottages. The cakes and lunch are great. There is a new playground. The yurt looked like an incredible place to spend the night. This is a real Gem off the beaten track. #ramblingstampcollectors
We went during the Equinox. The parking was pretty much jammed as it was a popular venue for that day. The path was well marked out well-maintained and very little mud although In fairness it was also freezing while we were there too. Nice markers with some information on site for reading.
