The Wheel at ICON Park Orlando is a 400 ft (122 m) tall giant ferris wheel in Orlando, Florida, United States. Opening under the name Orlando Eye, it opened on April 29, 2015. The wheel was reported to be in the early stages of planning in March 2011, at which point it was proposed for completion in mid-2014, but the opening date was subsequently delayed to late 2014 and then to early 2015.
The attraction was renamed the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye in 2016; the ICON Orlando in 2018; and The Wheel at ICON Park Orlando in 2019. The most recent rename included a re-branding of the property to become ICON Park.

I’ve always wanted to try this when we come to Orlando and we finally did this weekend. It’s a little pricey but if you’re a Florida residents you save about $20 bucks which is awesome. There was about 20 people ahead of us but it went fairly quick. This is not a “ride” as I though but more so just a viewing experience. It spins very slowly giving you an amazing view of Orlando. One rotation is all it goes, as the carts get loaded, it moves slowly. You’re in the cabin for about 22mins. You get your own cabin which is nice. And it’s a great opportunity for awesome pictures and silhouettes of the city lights. Very cool experience, as a local!

My Orlando eye experience was mind blowing. It gave me an awesome view of the entire city. The wheel moves slowly, so there is no chance of getting any fear. It is amazing how the view changes as the wheel moves. Before I boarded, they took photos of me that was displayed later for purchase. That's a very good marketing strategy. I won't go for the debate if the $30 ticket for a less than half an hour ride was worth it or not, but I lived my time there thoroughly.

The experience was enlightening. It wasn't particularly thrilling because it's very slow. However, the view was spectacular. On a clear evening you can see for miles and miles away. I recommend the evening time as the sun is setting. The lights make the view look amazing. Tip: Try to get into the Coca Cola carts you get free cold coke drinks.

It was awesome. I am afraid of heights so it was terrifying to me, but the view was amazing and definitely worth it! It is very sturdy and barley rocks, which definitely helped with my fear. You could get up and walk around in it (if you want to) and there is a poll in the middle if you feel the need to hold on to something (I did). It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Took a girl on a date here. Couldn't have been any better. Music was perfect for the occasion. I strongly recommend going during the sunset. Not only will you wow her, but you will also have a much better view. They offer to sell you pictures but they're a rip off just like any other huge attraction. Tickets were a bit pricey but I can't complain. It got me a girlfriend 🤷🏻♂️.

Wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend. Many attractions that are affordable. Our family used the Orlando go pass. We went back three times to enjoy the atmosphere and let our 2 yr. Old run around chasing bubbles.

This is a cool thing to do once on a very clear day. We enjoyed it the first time when it was brand new and enjoyed it again with our son who is 4, but I would say you’ll get as much out of it as you’re going to get the first time. The Florida Resident discount is nice. However, tickets are still very expensive and it is very touristy. There are plenty of things to do in the area and it’s well maintained.

Experience was above average. Very safe. Pretty good view of landmarks like Epcot, Convention center and universal Volcano. I guess is the best part is seeing Orlando Downtown on the horizon. The Florida resident discount is not much but worth asking for it. Would be great to ride around 9 pm while you can see Disney's fireworks.

A must do in Orlando! One of the nicest things I've done in Orlando. The speed of this is very slow so it gives you enough time to chat, enjoy the view, take photos or have a drink. Its very relaxing and feels super safe. Sometimes I get paranoid or afraid with heights but this didn't scare me at all! It ran smoothly with no shaking or weird creaking noises, etc. Fun for family and all ages. I think it would be perfect for a date too! I think they try their best to let you and your group go into a section by yourself. So, you don't have to worry about being crammed with other people besides your family. Everyone has to experience this at least once! Very beautiful sight from very high!

We visited the ICON right at sunset and couldn't have asked for a better view. We boarded right as the sun was setting, and by the time we got to the top, we had the last few moments of color from the sunset overlooking the whole city. The views are spectacular; and each party gets to ride in a car by yourselves. The units are air-conditioned, and there are screens on both the north and south ends of the car giving you information on what you're looking at. The whole ride takes about 20-22 minutes. The only downsides to this experience is the price is a bit steep; but it's in a heavy tourist area and was to be expected. You also cannot bring any food and drink into the car that isn't purchased through ICON. However, they do have a small bar with beer, wine and soda right before entering the car. Overall, it was a very cool experience!

Wow! This experience is fantastic! We had hoped to visit this at night, but the electrical storms and winds changed our plans. We went on Monday during the early afternoon. Great view! Worth the money. Tip: if you are staying at a local hotel, ask the concierge for discount tickets. Also, Tip: local residents already get a discount. Plan ahead! I'm horribly afraid of heights and shed a few tears. However, I appreciated the view, the smooth ride, my company in the capsule, and the air-conditioning! In addition, the ICON had a fantastic building for waiting out storms and just taking a break from the weather. Food, a bit of shopping, and tables are available. Besides, parking is free! Bring money for fun photos! We plan to return and visit at night!

Very nice and relaxing ride! I was so nervous at first because I am terrified of heights. I hate the traditional ferris wheels at carnivals and I thought this would be eerily similar. I was absolutely wrong. The capsules are air conditioned and filled with bumping tunes, which helps increase the excitement of the ride. In addition to these unique features, the view is phenomenal! I highly recommend this attraction. It is definitely an unforgettable experience!

We enjoyed our visit, complete with free parking with the multi-level Garage in the same complex. Lots of Little Stores and restaurants along with the larger attractions. They did seem to have several locations closed, including one that was being renovated. The closures may have been because our visit was on a Monday. I would give this location 5 Stars if it had more shady areas. Waiting for attractions and the rest of our party had us scrambling for the very few shady areas for protection from the Sun. Come on folks this is Florida! It's always sunny here! On the plus side the entire area was very clean and neat.

I would only recommend this place to people who want a unique date experience. We went as a family and felt it was underwhelming. None of the theme parks are close enough to get a great view. Luckily we had our own capsule (or whatever it's called) but the attendant said if it's busy they will make you share. There is only one small place to sit, so plan on standing. Also the door is on the side of the theme parks and better views. Had it been better planned, they should have reversed it so you had an unobstructed view of the "good side." It was $63 with a FL resident discount, for 2 adults, one child, and one toddler (free). It was about a 20 minute experience. It's not something we would do again or recommend.
