Abeno Harukas (あべのハルカス) is a multi-purpose commercial facility in Abenosuji Itchome, Abeno-ku, Osaka, Japan. It consists of the New Annex (新館) (main tenants: Osaka Abenobashi Station, Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas Wing Building), Eastern Annex (東館) (Miyako City Osaka Tennoji), and a 300 m (984 ft) tall skyscraper, Abeno Harukas (あべのハルカス). The reconstruction began on January 9, 2010, and opened on March 7, 2014. The building is 300 meters tall and has 62 floors; it was the tallest building in Japan from 2014 to 2023, until Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower seized the title.
It is the planned alternative station building of Ōsaka Abenobashi Station, the terminal of Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line. Its floor space is around 100,000 square meters, making it the biggest department store in Japan. It contains Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas, Marriott International hotel, university campuses, and Sharp Corporation sales office.
Really nice skyline and the food options is great. Fun place with lots to do. Spent an entire day here. They has Tetris game stations to be projected which was super cool.

Well worth the price. I have gone to most tall towers, but this place is by far the best in my opinion. It has interactive game tetris where you can play on the windows, the light shows flashed at the windows. View is superb. Has got cafes and dining and inside park for the view. Recommended.

Good place to shop as Kintetsu dept store is huge. There is a museum and a few cafes in the building. One right above the museum for a good view of Osaka. Going to the top is a nice experience, but I find it more interesting at night or sunset than during the day. Q's mall, hoop and tenshiba are next door for more places to shop or eat.

If it weren't so tremendously expensive, going up to the top of Japan's largest habitable building would be a regular destination to share with guests of the city. Beautiful views and enormous windows make for a really cool feel. However 1500 yen a head is prohibitively expensive and unnecessary, considering the space is largely unused most of the day.

Awesome viewing platform with interesting little events and activities! You can see REALLY far, giving you a perspective of how close together everything is, even though it takes trains to get anywhere. The only thing is that is pretty expensive.
George BennionJan 28, 2018
Provides a magnificent view from the highest accesible altitude in the city. You can see various famous buildings or sightseeing spot from here, if that amuses you. You can also experience going to a toilet with full height glass walls hiding nothing of the toilet from the open world. I guess it would also be great to have a date dinner here, after watching the sunset.

I just went up the tower for the view. It's worth it. It's even better when it's the sunset, the colours are amazing so orange. You see all the list from the city when the sun is down. You must do it but only by the evening or there ist too much people.

Pro tip: Go at sunset and stay for the early evening to see the city lights. Amazing view of Osaka skyline, but this is not the most amazing of cities from above. The garden on the 40th-something floor is free to access, but it's worth paying to go to the observation deck, which is almost at the very top and provides a 360° view of the city. At the observation deck there's also a nice and relaxing open air cafe, which is an extra nice place to have a drink due to the view. It's also possible to access the rooftop, although i would not recommend because it costs an additional fee, the view is not much better and there's strict and constraining safety measures (no pictures less than 2meters from the hedge). Finally, there's an experience where you get to hang over the hedge strapped by a rope. Looked like a good thrill, but was expensive so I didn't try. All and all, worth a visit if you like skyline views, especially for seeing the sunset and early night city lights.

Night View was awesome! Dining options had a good range of prices, ranging from full meals to bite sized takeaways. The chance to have a window seat is low, if only more tables and chairs were set up by all the windows..
Lawrence AngJun 12, 2018
Its spectacular only because of its height compared to all the other buildings in Osaka. From the above, Osaka City is just a city, nothing overly spectacular. But its nice just chilling at the sky garden (just 2 floors below the highest floor) where its outdoor and you can feel the breeze.

Great view of the city of Osaka at the observatory located at the 60th floor. Wide selection of restaurants on the 58th, 12th to 14th floors.
Edward LiJul 17, 2018
Definitely go up to the 16th floor and have a look around there is a very large Promenade on which you can stand and look out at the city for free. There is a Skywalk or Promenade however you want to call it on the 60th floor that has a very similar view but if you want to save a few Yen just go to the 16th floor and have a look around. There are also a variety of shops on the first 8 or 10 floors all of which are quite expensive and priced like Nordstrom's in North America. Overall this is a very premium shopping experience and if that is something that you prefer then this is definitely a good place for you

Went here on a rainy evening. Before the ticket counter there were signs that the weather conditions are pretty bad and there is nothing to see. Who would do that? Scaring off potential customers? Of course the Japanese would do that... We went up anyways even tho' the lady at the ticket counter showed us the paper with the sign regarding the weather once again. How nice is that? We still insisted to go up. And yeah, it was raining and clouds were coming and going but still the view was breathtaking. Wondering how it is when it's actually great weather outside.
