I enjoyed a lot. Well thinked idea of exibition, big space. Unfortunately there are no moderator who can talk and tell to visitors about exhibits, but ofcourse it's not so common so it was okat. Highly recommend to visit exibition Myriad Art

Nice museum with lots of contemporary Japanese artists featured. This underground building is huge and need time exploring it properly.

Disappointed that there is only 1 exhibition ongoing, a permanent collection of 196 works in 19 themes. Had to pay for audio guide & photography permission. Pity the gallery sitters who have to continuously ask visitors to stop taking photos.

Medium sized modern art museum, two floors of large gallery space. Exhibit when I visited was avant garde pieces heavy in the late 90's through 2000's era, which I personally detest. Installation pieces and video art that neither stimulate the mind or satisfy the senses. Good museum shop with fun crafty postcards by presumably local artists.

This place was quite interesting. They had exhibits in different and various meduims. From sound, short movie, scuplture, paintings, installation to live performance. They had included artists from around the world which helped the experience for someone like me who doesn't speak and understand Japanese. The exhibits are quite contemporary. You will enjoy this place if you enjoy modern conceptual art. The entry fee varies from 800 to 1200 yen if I am not mistaken. You can also buy a translator as well, which would help with the language barrier.

Art didn't suit my taste, building isn't incredible from the inside. Not allowed to take pictures on the entire floor, which includes the //entire// floor. Stairs, seats, everything. However, don't let that put you off. The art really didn't suit my taste at all. It didn't follow a certain topic which also made it hard to enjoy the exhibition. The entrance fee is very high but worth for those who like the artists. The washrooms are clean, there's an entrance for disabled and free admission for disabled people. Overall though, if you like the artists, I recommend the museum.
