The Umeda Sky Building (梅田スカイビル, Umeda Sukai Biru) is the nineteenth-tallest building in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. It consists of two 40-story towers that connect at their two uppermost stories, with bridges and an escalator crossing the wide atrium-like space in the center. It is located in Umeda district of Kita-ku, Osaka.

Amazing building. Would highly recommend people to visit if you are around Osaka. Very close to the main station. Go up to the viewing platform and it gives an unobstructed view of the city- when I went the middle escalator was getting repaired so didn't get the cool access. Down one star because the upper viewing platform on the outside had dirty windows.

Great view for Umeda area. Great scenery and photo spot. We use the Amazing Osaka one day pass so it's free admission. Not crowded. The open view elevator and escalator is cool experience too.

Amazing engineering structure with a good 360 observation deck. Best of all it was free if you have an Osaka Amazing pass. You can also have your love engraved padlock to be placed in the designated area. There's also a lounge where you can enjoy a meal or two while having your sunset view. Definitely a must visit. Just be prepared to have a long walk from Umeda station to reach the place.

Interesting scenic point. Great views and an well set up. Architecture of the place is good to take in and view as well. Water show and lighting at night added to the attraction. Bit of a confusing walk there as a lot of construction underway but this will end one day I guess. Believe it's better to go at night.

Went there reluctantly because it was so far and we were so hungry. But don’t regret it! Stunning 360 degree rooftop view of Tokyo. Viewing indoor pods available but we’re too popular. Rooftop was really cold at night though! We went in early April.

Great views, but get there early, or be prepared for a little wait. There are often special events too, all detailed on the official website. Make sure you go up to the very top where you can go outside onto the viewing platform. If you take the willer bus, it's in the adjacent and connected building, so it's worth a quick visit! Not expensive either. There's a bar serving a surprising amount of world beer too.

Worth the experience, 4 Stars. Osaka is a beautiful city from above and this is a place to bring someone special, especially a significant other. Dusk is particularly special and recommended. Enjoy the many restaurants and beverage options at the sky level and under street level. It’s a very spacious sky lobby level and the outdoor deck is a full circle viewing experience. Bring the family and friends. I’ll be back.

Umeda Sky Building is one of the tallest buildings in Japan and also one of the most modern. The design seen from the outside is amazing but the structure inside is even more mesmerising. You can ride the escalators in the middle of the building while enjoying the view and also go to the top of the building and have a 360-degree look at the city. The view is stunning and the sensation of walking freely with no windows is mind-blowing. It's undoubtedly a must-go in Osaka!
