Nice friendly and helpful staff, went on the bus tour and saved my self a whole lot of walking,
Very helpful and friendly staff, good luggage storage service.
Plenty of advice for where to visit Oxford. Most requested, Harry Potter.
The people inside are so nice. They will help you when you are new to Oxford and recommend all the best things.
The university and college tour was excellent with a really insteresting and knowledgeable guide, Rob Walkers. The Harry Potter highlight tour was disappointing. The guide was stressed and confuse, spent 30% of time on HP and 70% about the university and college. She was not an expert of HP with little anecdotes you can expect. Kids were totally bored. We saw only 2 places, the cluster and the divinity school. A bit expensive for this tour.
Good place to start your visit to Oxford. Lots of information with helpful members of staff.
Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Knew the area very well.
Great service. Very good suggestions.
This is a review about my recent visit to Christ Church College. I visited recently with my grand-daughter who is a fan of Harry Potter and she thoroughly enjoyed it. It is very difficult to put a rating on it as the gardens are lovely, the architecture is breathtaking and the scenery all around is stunning. As a fan of Harry Potter, the highlight of the visit for my grand-daughter was to see the Great Hall, and unfortunately this is where we had a bad experience. We queued up outside expectantly with a lot of people, and in time were admitted inside and up the stairs and eventually into the Hall where we were repeatedly told by a number of stewards to:"move on, move on, think about the people queuing up outside, keep moving......". I felt I was being rushed, bullied, and even guilty when I stopped to take o photo This is not the experience I was looking forward to.
Dropped here to buy the hop on/ off tour bus but got ourselves talked into a walking tour instead. It might have been good, but we really didn't get the right guide that was assigned to us. Within 5 min. we knew more of her personal live more then the entire tour that she guided. I feel we lost time and money. Next time I shall just buy the guide book and a good on/off bus ticket and do it my way.
