I pass by this a couple times a week and it makes my day better. Haha
Nothing extra ordinary. House owner has put a huge metal shark through the roof
Only parked outside in the dark so didn't realise I was by the shark. Could just make out the outline of it. Don't think I would go out of my way to visit in the daytime.
As a simple tourist attraction, it's entertaining. But as a rental home for a group of traveling Americans, it's terrific. Highly recommended.
It's a metal shark sunk in a roof. Not much else to say.
I loved it. Unusual. And free!
wonderful. I am not an expert on sharks so don't ask me which species but more likely a great bite than a doggish. I have driven past at all hours of the day and night and can confirm this attraction can be viewed around the clock (and within the roof). I cannot confirm that they will throw a tarpaulin or something over it in 2026 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Oxford United's Milk Cup triumph (the league cup had real sponsors in those days) but I can confirm the council are still just waiting for the chance (you know you are you miserable spoilsports so don't say you aren't and don't think i'll throw your solicitor's letters away anymore than matey did when you told him to shift it or else). it is a wonderful attraction and not that far from crocodiles of the world although to be fair the crocodiles were a bit real compared to the shark so he couldn't leave them wedged in his roof and he does have more appropriate premises now but yes that was in a house once too but to be fair to the headfirst headless? headington shark the crocs not 24/7 all year every year, shark is! even council have to admit it.... five stars! nothing like it!
Worth it just to show your mates the photos!
I haven't visit there
It's funny, it's free and it's food for thought!
Well worth a look if you are in the local area. Just drive to the road and pull over for a quick look. I'm giving it 5 stars because it is after all, a shark sticking out of the roof of a house in Oxford.
Came across it completely by accident, the paintwork on it is looking a bit tired now.
