This is one of the places of Palermo where you have to go. Very impressive and artistic Renaissance style with nude sculpture what the inhabitants of Palermo thought it's scandalous and the people didn't liked during that time. There is a tourist office and in front of the place are always guides who offers chariot tours around the center of Palermo. The Fontana Pretoria is not to far from Central station and there are a lot of shopping places around - so you can combine this tour exploring Palermo.

Stunning magical fountain with beautiful statues. The location is perfect among the sity hall, the church of St Caterina. There is a fence but you may climb through a small door just in front of the City hall.

Historical monument in front of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria which is a beautiful example of Baroque interior with brightly coloured frescoes and plasterwork angels.

Una famosa fontana a Palermo circondata da palazzi storici e chiese. Chiamata fontana della vergogna per la nudità delle sue statue. Fa un certo effetto scenografico

"Piazza della Vergogna" (Shame Square) as its most popular name resounds in the minds of locals; the Palermo People's House (Palazzo Pretorio) and the Church of Santa Caterina stands beside the magnificent fountain, full of naked statues: from this its name.
