While it is an important part of a Reuben history, the site itself is just okay. It has the only ruins of what was once a gold smelting operation during Aruba's limited Gold Rush. Vendors will sell drinks and snacks at the base and there's also a pay toilet available. The nice thing about this exhibit is it's on the coastline so you can enjoy the other sites in the area.
What a view! Worth making your way to the northern part of Aruba to see. Be sure to climb as high as you can for a really awesome view, but be careful of course. When we went there was a food/snack truck in the parking lot. Bathrooms were around a dollar to use.
Just not much to do or see here. I definitely would not drive out here just to see this. Ther is a hidden pool only a few hundred yards away though. That is worth seeing.
Fun history place to visit. Amazing to see how the masons managed to get huge boulders into blocks and stack them as they did. Lizards are a side attraction.
Pretty cool place. But you're surrounded by people so that makes it a little difficult to take in the serenity of the location and history. Still worth a visit though.
Very nice historic place to see. I wore sandals here but I think sneakers would have been more suitable. It was also very very windy here but I still enjoyed myself and enjoyed learning about the history of this place. Definitely a must see when you visit Aruba. I will visit again:)
Beautiful adventure! Walking around the place and inside the ruins make you feel like in one of those Indiana Jones' movies😎. Climb to the top and you will get a fantastic view of the area.It is a place to remember...!
We saw this as part of a tour and it was breathtaking! I love the history and it was really accessible to climb up and check out. The view of the island and the water was worth it
Beautiful ocean views. Climbing the rock structure challenging. Pay $1 to use the bathroom. Lots of people visit here.
This place is beautiful! My boyfriend and I climbed all the way and the view is amazing. Also there's a few interesting spots around it, walk and discover!
Nice ruin to go to on your way to the old natural bridge. You get to take nice pictures. I went on my own, but it would have been nice to have a guide who can tell you more about its history.
This location was part of an ATV tour that we took. The ruins were interesting to see and fun to climb up to the top. If you can get up to the top, there's a beautuful view of the ocean. At the bottom of the hill there are several vendors selling drinks and snacks which was welcome as we had been on the ATVs for quite a long time and we're hot and thirsty.
