The Natural Pool, also known as "conchi" or "Cura di Tortuga", is a natural pool of water located in a very remote area in east Aruba. It is formed by rock and volcanic stone circles. The rugged terrain surrounding the pool makes it accessible only by four-wheel drive, all-terrain vehicles, horseback, or on foot. There is a hiking trail leading from the park entrance.
One of the most unique places we visited in Aruba. Get your own rental jeep and be aware that the road eventually becomes very rough. The ocean there is also a little rougher so it wasn't a place to spend the day swimming with small children. Go there for the view.

One the highlights of our trip! Not an easy task by hike or 4x4 but well worth it! Swimming in it is not for novices as the waves are usually pretty big coming over the rocks. Do not miss this and enjoy all of the surrounding beauty!

Thought Aruba was beautiful until we went on a ATV tour to the natural pool. Wow!!! Even more stunning and beautiful than we could have imagined. My wife and I are typically not the go out get muddy and dirty adventure types. But this journey may have opened our eyes to a whole new world. Breathless beauty, stunning views with more interesting and cool fish in the pool than in a lot of scuba tours. Go get dirty. Take the bumpy road and see this outstanding place of nature.

Amazing adventure! Beautiful scenery, but try to make your trip on as calm of a day as possible due to the big waves which will make the pool too rough to enter.

I hiked to it from the parking area. Not the easiest hike but definitely worth it. Hot and hilly!

Natural pool is amazing place. We hike there from the last house wearing flip flops so it was very challenging. Be aware that it is not always possible to swim in the pool because of big waves.

Great view. A lot of tourists. Access only with 4x4. Worth the way.

Excellent place to see, need Atv or Safari tour, Utv tour to get there or rent a 4 wheel drive to get there but be careful. It's a little tough to get to and in the Natural pool but is worth it. Small but refreshing water and the waves crashing over the rocks is great for pics.

This pool was great. A lot of steps to climb to and from the pool and water was cold and rocks slippery, however the experience was amazing.

Absolutely incredible place. Beautiful views and pool is refreshing but remember it's one of the main tourist sites. If you get there on your own, you can take as long as you want but if you go with a group, check how long they give you. The rocks are slippery but water shoes work great! As you slide into the pool, swim across or even snorkel, it goes from three to eleven feet deep. Most of all enjoy!

It’s worth the trip to get there, however you choose to get there. We took a Jeep tour, but if you walk there bring plenty of water to drink-and sunscreen. The natural pool has a lot of steps down and they aren’t all real steps. Getting in and out of the pool isn’t super easy but it adds to the experience and fun. Great experience and a must to see and try in Aruba.

Very cool place. Would def recommend. Colder than other natural pools I've been to though

Great spot. I enjoy hiking so hiking down was nice for me. Nice views from a top.

This place is a really neat attraction. Part of what makes it so special is the trek to reach it. The journey to this place is not for the frail. Couple things you should know before heading out here. 1. The road is all but nonexistent. It’s a very rough adventurous trek. 2. The rocks at the perimeter of the pool are very slippery from moss. We took our 7 year old to this location by Jeep without incident. Excellent experience

This was a great place to visit while in Aruba. The trip to get out here was fun to me but terrifying to my wife. The roads become just rocks that require a 4WD vehicle to cross. The view once there is spectacular. It was crowded when we got there due to a tour group. The trip is also a long one so I'd plan at least a half day just to this spot.
Michael WilsonMay 14, 2018
Amazing natural pool formed by rocks. There are fish and crabs roaming about as well as really interesting coral. You can also climb and jump off a rockside into the pool as well as have the waves from the ocean rain on you.

We had a great time at the pool. I would suggest renting your own Jeep. ATV or UTV will work great, you will just get very dusty. The road is very Rocky but a lot of fun to 4X4. Lots of tour groups you can hire also but I prefer venturing on my own. You can even hike in, it's only about a mile, remember lots of water. It is FULL exposure the entire way. The pool is awesome and the waves are spectacular. We were lucky and got there as a family was leaving, we had the pool to ourselves for awhile which was wonderful and then half the country showed up. That's the downside, it can get crowded very quickly. If you're on Aruba this is a pretty cool place to visit.

I love this place. Climb down 200 steps. Amazing water and so fresh. It is a bit slippery but had a great time in between quad biking.
