The EDRO III was a cargo ship, built in 1966 by Kaldnes Mekaniske Verksted at Tønsberg in Norway.
The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III ran aground off Pegeia on 8 October 2011 in heavy seas, during a voyage to Rhodes, from Limassol, Cyprus with a cargo of plasterboard. At the time of the accident, the ship had nine crew members – seven Albanians and two Egyptians. The crew were rescued and airlifted to the safety of Paphos by a local British Military helicopter.

Oops.Personally i think it would make a great self catering apartment with built in swimming pool and sloping dance floor, sunken bath, water bed,hot and cold running water, depending on the season, time share available. Nice sea view.29.04.2018.Needs some work doing but an interesting project.

Interesting place in storm day, when waves fitting the boat. The nose a bit creepy, but the scenery amazing at sunset

The Edro III was wrecked in December 2011. It was decided to leave it where it is as the cost of salvage was not worth it. The vessel was built in 1966. All the fuel oil etc that could pollute the sea has been removed. An interesting thing to see.

Nice view, nothing spectacular. I think there is a coffee place next to it but didn't visit.

Stunning scenery, but! This is worth a visit but it's not a day trip as there is nothing apart from the ship and the sea. Put don't let that put you off.

Worth walking to and checking out if you're in the area. Quite a sight! Though there is just the ship (which you cannot explore), so not worth making a day trip out of.

Nice to take some photos but nothing really special except of a ship by the rocks. If you are around the area and want to take some photos in the afternoon yea i will suggest it but it doesn’t worth the effort yo visit the area just for that. There is a nice bar/ restaurant in the area which looked nice.

Let's be honest. It's a 2011 wreck. Its story is more exciting... Read before and have a look later...
